Background
Childhood
Angel Valmont was born an albino in Grandville on May 24th, 1990. She was raised by her single mother and her grandfather. Her grandfather raised her on stories of "the good days" when The Etoile Isles were governed by President Marchand. He told her of how things weren't perfect, but they were good. Her grandmother had to get a job as a secretary for President Marchand, and when he was assassinated by agents of Lord Recluse, she was there, defending Marchand with her life.
Adolescence
School was hard on Angel, she was always picked on for being a "freak." However, her first day of high school, a Junior came to her rescue. From then on, anytime any other student picked on Angel, he was there to protect her. It wasn't long before they started dating. Then, when Angel was 15, disaster struck. Her grandfather and mother died at the same general time, reasons unknown. No autopsies were performed, as who cares when the nearly homeless die? They were buried in unmarked graves, and Angel was left alone. She moved to Mercy Island with her boyfriend, and all was as well as it can be in the The Rogue Isles until, walking home from her waitressing job at a local restaurant, Angel was ambushed by four Snakes. They bit her, and she screamed as the venom coursed through her body and started to change her. Her eyes blurred with pain, she vaugely heard the snakes hissing, then silence. She woke up on an operating table, feeling strange, not herself... but... she thought she still had legs. She opened her eyes, and saw a purple haired woman standing over her. She was informed that the venom had partially mutated her, but she was "rescued" by The Rogue Islands Pet Shelter, which now made her property of The Dastardly Mad Psychic Violet.
Joining Arachnos
Angel spent a few months captive in the shelter, a slave to Violet, forced to do menial labor around the shelter, until Violet informed her that she had been enrolled in the Arachnos Widow program. Angel saw her chance to not only escape Violet, but also to infiltrate Arachnos, kill Lord Recluse, and restore The Etoile Islands to the glory days her grandfather told her about. On her 18th birthday, she graduated from the official training, and for the most part Violet is letting her learn things on her own, but it's clear that she is still Violet's "pet" and for now, that's fine with Angel, let the mad woman think she's loyal.
Returning Home
Shortly after her "graduation", Angel returned to her boyfriend, and expected the worst. When she knocked on the door (she didn't dare just walk in, even if was technically her home too), he opened it and immediately recognized her despite her snake characteristics. He pulled her inside, kissed her, and asked her what had happened to her. Amazed that he wasn't horrified, she told him what had happened, and he told her he loved her, even with scales.
Secrets
The snake mutation also caused Angel to lose all of her hair, however only her boyfriend and Psychic Violet actually knows this for sure, as Angel is never seen out of her uniform without a wig on.

Recently, with Viper Widow's cooperation, Psychic Violet teamed up with Captain Mako to further mutate her form, giving her some shark-like powers in addition to her already formidable Night Widow training.

After the defeat of Reichsman, Lord Recluse promoted Viper Widow to be an Arbiter. More later!
