Profile
The past that Gavin MacGowan remembers is largely manufactured. But what is true is that the idealistic Imperial City native joined the Praetoria Police Department as soon as his age permitted and was poised to rise quickly within the ranks had it not been for a particularly vicious attack by a team of Resistance Crusaders.
Gavin would have otherwise been among the dead had he not been selected for experimental treatment, already considered a prime candidate. Nanites were injected into his bloodstream, giving him regenerative abilities and augmenting his natural ones. Experimental drugs helped to keep his body from rejecting them... and for 'mental conditioning' to prepare him for his new role: assassin of the Empire. Yet even brainwashing could not erase his core personality; an idealist dedicated more to the safety of the people than either Emperor or Empire.
Horrified to learn of Emperor Cole's plans to invade Primal Earth, Gavin reported what he had learned to the only superior officer he could truly trust: Provost Marchand. In turn, Marchand had a request for him: go to Primal Earth and stop the invasion. Without hesitation, Gavin stepped through the portal.
