"My history is boring bros, you wouldn't wanna hear it."
Chad's history isn't one filled with drama or hardship, infact he mostly lived a pretty happy life. He was born to a tribe of islanders who would teach him about the ocean and the animals that lived in it, they would also teach him how to communicate with the sea. In his free time he would surf or skimboard and party with friends. At age fifteen Chad discovered his unique powers and began to show them off. These powers would invoke jealousy in some clan members and intrest from others. It would be quickly realized that his powers came from being part of the same bloodline as the founder of the tribe and thus put him in a position to be the next chief of the island. The tribesmen would not only begin to train Chad in the use of his powers but also teach him politics and other things he would need to know when he took over. Chad however carried no intrest in being the head honcho on the island and split as soon as he could, never looking back.
"Chill dude, I can tell you who I am."
Chad is a very laid back easy going guy, usually he can be found telling his teammates to chill out a bit. He's a bit lazy and unmotivated, mostly considering hard work to be a pain and a bore. Despite complaining about things being a pain he still tends to help out people in need without question.
"What can I do? I'll show you dude."
Chad can create and control water with ease. He mostly uses this power to protect friends by creating bubbles around them, however this power can also be used to make a nearly impenetrable bubble around himself, as well as allowing him to liquefy himself for a brief period to avoid taking damage from attacks. He also uses water to blast around enemies from time to time, when he feels like it anyway. His biggest strength however is his intelligence, though not unnecessarily book smart he is very good with tactics and making strategies, usually planning five to ten moves ahead so he can come up with proper back up plans.
"It's a pain, but I'm pretty weak."
Chad has some major things holding him back, namely that in comparison to other supers his powers aren't that amazing. One on one he can't do much past avoiding getting hurt, and on a team generally he's just the guy keeping the rest alive. As such anyone coming after him wouldn't have to hard of a time, unless they had to come up against his friends as well.

- Ultrasound - Chad's girlfriend, they've only been dating about a month but he's totally head over heels for her. It's not uncommon for him to be a bit more lively around her.
- Blase' - Amelia is one of Chad's best friends, he totally thinks she's a babe but also generally just enjoys her company. More then anything he likes that she's got a strong sense of morals.
- Bow-SIinger - The leader of the Teen Templars, Chad likes Bow a lot and will generally do whatever Bow asks.
- Galaxy Shot - Thinks she's totally adorable.
- The Scion of Dagon - Really think Zane is probably one of the coolest chicks he knows. He enjoys that she isn't a spaz like most of the other members of the group.
- Diablo Boy - Chad thinks Dabs is a total spaz but gets along with him since they have a total animal connection.
- Smoking Mirrors - Chad's secret lover.
- Pulsegirl - Emma is another total babe. He enjoys her mostly since she can be totally carefree one moment then a complete spaz the next. This usually makes him laugh.
- Red Ripper - Red makes Chad uneasy because he just frankly does not understand him. Chances are this won't change.
