There are a variety of racial categories on the wiki, including fantasy races (such as elves and dwarves), sci-fi races (aliens, andriods), and everything in-between (anthropomorphs, animals, avatars, and so on). City of Heroes and City of Villains also include a number of unique races in their own canon, such as Rikti, Snakes and Rularuu.

This category is intended to include those racial categories which already exist (as the "Origins" category includes subcategories for Blasters, Controllers and so forth). This category could also be considered to be "something else in addition to a normal human" - that is to say, it is not meant to exclude characters who are human as well as another race. A good in-game example would be human/kheldian hybrids.
