(For the sake of this description, the term "animal" is used in opposition to "human", despite technically including homo sapiens.)

Characters in this category are members of the animal kingdom such as dogs, cats, birds, fish, and so forth. Due to the humanoid nature of character models in-game, characters in this category are rarely "ordinary" animals - most have been modified by means of science or magic, or have become human/animal hybrids through mutation. Still, they are equally (or perhaps more) accurately classified as animals than as humans.
