Associates
- Vagrant Investigations - A small private detective agency located in Kings Row, which Amelie is a partner in. The agency takes their jobs on a case-by-case basis as determined by the founder, Magnum Vagrant. They specialize in metahuman and superpowered cases.
- Magnum Vagrant - The founder and leader of Vagrant Investigations, and Amelie's partner. The pair met in a bar, and Magnum offered Amelie a job based on the fact she was wearing a trenchcoat and fedora. Since then, the two have been good friends. Even despite his mysterious two-year disappearance to Praetoria, he's one of the few constants in Amelie's life and the only person she trusts completely.
- Diz the Goblin - Another member of Vagrant Investigations, Diz hails from an alternate world full of magic and dozens of races mingle with humans. Chasing a mage through a portal, she wound up on Primal Earth.
Abilities
- Strength - Amelie is much stronger than her thin frame lets most people think. She's strong enough to punch through brick walls and lift small cars overhead.
- Smell - The vampiress has an extraordinary sense of smell, though she smells blood stronger than anything else, especially if it's fresh. She can use her sense of smell almost as a bloodhound, and can sometimes tell where people have been by the smell of their clothes, if she's familiar with it.
- Athletics - Amelie can run and jump exceptionally well. With a top running speed of 76 miles per hour, running is her usual mode of transportation. She's also able to leap several stories high.
- Hearing - If she concentrates and tunes out the surrounding noise, Amelie is capable of hearing anything up to a distance of about four city blocks.
Weaknesses
- Sunlight - The rays of the sun immediately, and quickly, burn her flesh should she come into contact with it. So far, no other type of light has had the same effect on her.
- Fire - Much like sunlight, fire will quickly and painfully wound Amelie if she comes into contact with it.
- Religious Symbols - Symbols of religion, from crosses to Stars of David, can drive Amelie back and will even burn her skin if she comes into contact with them. Oddly, only Earth-based religious symbols have the effect. When Diz tested this by showing Amelie one from her world, it only made the vampire uneasy.
- Blood Weakness - The longer Amelie goes without drinking blood, the weaker she and her abilities become. It takes one week without blood to drive her to a violent frenzy, only calming when she's filled her need to drink.
