History

Born into a wealthy family, Saxson lived a privileged life. He was educated in Oxford in business and dabbled in technologies at other institutions.

Later, he took over the family’s business and turned it into a wealthy communications conglomerate, Saxson Communications Technology.

Mutant Rising and Aggressive Expansion

Saxson had a storybook life until the death of his wife from a mysterious condition. Consumed with rage, his mutant powers presented allowing him a complete mastery over his own pain as well as the pain of others. This ability left him with an overwhelming rage and thirst for power. Saxson began to coldly and calculatingly take control of assets around Paragon in order to cement his legacy and become wealthy.

Saxson and the First Rikti War

The Rikti invaded and turned Paragon upside down. Saxson paused his search for power in order to stop the alien menace. Saxson’s personal security teams fought off waves of invaders which allowed Saxson himself to pick up advanced technologies for his own personal gain without losing any of his own territory. He even had a temporary truce with all the heroes that attempted to stop his lust for power.

After the war, he managed to build himself a suit of power armor using salvaged Rikti metals powered by his own pain and suffering. Saxson only used the suit once, to fight off his most persistent foe, The Trenchcoat Terror. Saxson won the skirmish, but the suit was damaged beyond repair, forcing Saxson to hire a new head of security to do his dirty work. One specifically tailored to taking down costumed foes using equally theatrical methods. Erik Jester was made Chief of Security for SCT and given an endless supply of manpower, equipment and poisons to take down all heroes that come knocking and Saxson’s door. Jester does it with a smile on his face.

He even took out Saxson’s rival, The Trenchcoat Terror with nothing but a simple explosive.

Other Pursuits

Saxson’s strained relationship with his daughter got even worse after the death of his wife. His daughter Hailey Nails, became a spoiled pop star socialite who rarely spoke to her father. Hailey’s mutant ability presented, giving her control of sound waves. She decided it would be fun to run around the Isles causing chaos. Her father didn’t mind at all and pays all her credit card bills deeming it a worthwhile venture.

Saxson’s interests moved to the Rogue Isles in an attempt to counter other companies operating in the area. He let loose his chief of security, his super powered daughter and two former Crey experiments he acquired to break down his competitors so he could move in. Each time, Saxson’s minions came against the overwhelming power of Arachnos. Forcing him to rethink his strategy, Saxson himself even stepped into the fray with his own personal army of cyborg drones, each made stronger by his domination over pain. Now Saxson and the forces of Arachnos constantly engage each other in battles that rage across the Isles and Paragon alike.
