Blackstone Campus

A map picture would go here
Blackstone Hills Preparatory School is located in Founders Falls in the Blackstone Hills district. A large, somewhat ornate wrought iron fence surrounds the school as a whole more for show than to keep anyone in or out and the lawn is immaculate kept by a combination of groundskeepers and students who suffered an infraction or another. The buildings themselves are quite new though some affect an older style; the oldest spanning back to the founding of the school itself in the mid 1960s. ****************. Not just a school to prepare meta-humans to control their powers, but, a school to prepare responsible young people using their powers for the greater good.

Places around Campus

Zephyr Hall

  • In the center of campus, the main office building is so named after one of the Zephyr; an alumnist who gave her life defending the school during the Second Rikti War. A statue of Zephyr was built by the alumni association and it has become tradition for all students to touch the foot of the statue before heading out to any important mission for good luck.

Winger Dormatory

  • Winger Dormatory is where all of the students at BHPS reside. Winger Hall is broken into five sections for each of the squadrons. While the crystal squadrons have their own private common rooms these are typically used more for planning - the Jade Squadrons more central common room serves as an area where most students gather to do work and relax. Students are responsible for the tidyness of their dormatories as a whole and the Jade Common Room is decorated typically to honor the Squad that has done the most to keep their area looking tidy and welcoming.

Bascom-Pierce Hall

  • Housing the science and computer labs, this hall is a bit labyrinthine with the majority of the actual science laboratories under ground ostensibly for space issues on campus. Above ground it has several computer labs as well as housing the school's impressive three story library despite the insistence that the library should be rebuilt closer to Carter Hall.

Carter Hall

  • Carter Hall is the primary building for the humanities. One of the older buildings, Carter Halls lounge has a full kitchen as it was renovated from a house. Many of the students who arrive early in the morning take the time to make tea to bring with them to class. The care of Carter Hall typically has been taken as a point of pride by the Garnet Squadron.

Dietrich Hall

  • Dietrich Hall is where most of the fine arts classes are held as well as where many on-campus meetings are held due to the theater which has gained the unofficial name of the 'Briefing Room' for what it is most frequently used for.

Yaeger Gymnasium

  • This building is easily recognizable by the pennants hanging outside from its entrance. The newest building on campus, Yaeger Gym was recently renovated to add a new pool and football field beside the building after an alumni donation. The pennants represent perhaps the most exciting week (to the students, anyhow) at Blackstone Hills - each represents a past winner from the Blackstone Hills intra-school spirit week.
