Joseph Blue, known under the alias the Blue Rose Knight, is a Hero from the Alpha Group; a team of Heroes from another dimension who are in Paragon City pursuing fugitive Villains from their dimension.

History
Alpha Earth is a world where the Dawn of the Metahuman is an event of recent memory. Only a few dozen Metas with significant powers exist in this world, and many mysteries remain as to the origins of the Alpha Alloy that granted most of this world's Metas their powers and it's full power. Joseph arrived on this planet some time ago pursuing a Villain he calls The Dark Wizard. Joseph has been reluctant thus far to explain his reason for pursuing The Dark Wizard and the mission that drives both to travel across time and space. Whatever the case, the Heroes of Alpha Earth learned to trust Joseph as a true friend, and help him in his unending battle against The Dark Wizard and his many creatures of Darkness.
Origin
Joseph's origin is a history he keeps to himself, and his friends from Alpha Earth learned long ago to stop pestering him over it. What is known is that Joseph wasn't always gifted with the Powers of Gods, he once was an ordinary human being from a parallel Earth that exists very far from Alpha Earth dimensionally speaking. However this world lacks any Metahumans, and through cryptic references he has made over his time on Alpha Earth, the Heroes there pieced together that his powers originate from another world that isn't Joseph's Earth but a world nearby it dimensionaly speaking. In addition, they have pieced together evidence that ties the Dark Wizard's origin to this same world. Whatever the case, Joseph treats his powers like a curse, one that he is eager to rid himself of once he defeats the Dark Wizard and ends his malevolent macinations. Until then however, Joseph takes enjoyment from only one of his powers; Flight.
Powers
On Alpha Earth, Joseph commanded the Powers of Gods, all of which he claimed came from his status as the last Light Wielder. Joseph's list of abilities on Alpha Earth included short range Telekinesis, Energy Manipulation and Projection which he used to create force fields and fire powerful blasts of Light Energy, Regeneration, Superhuman Strength, a near Invulnerability to physical damage, Precognition, and the power to Fly at supersonic speeds. All of this combined made Joseph one of, if not the most powerful, Metahuman on Alpha Earth. Able to fly through space and travel between dimensions, Joseph embodied the power every Villain on Alpha Earth desired to achieve.
Like most of the Alpha Group, Joseph suffered from a tremendous loss of power upon arriving in Paragon City. On Alpha Earth he was considered a God, on Primal Earth his powers have all but dissapeared. He can still manage a small bolt of Energy to attack his foes at range, but this is merely to distract or pester as it's damage is minimal. He can still Fly, but at a snail's pace compared to his former proficiency. His Telekinesis, Energy Manipulation and Projection, and Superhuman Strength have all dissapeared, leaving him with only a shadow of his former Regeneration and Invulnerabilty with only fragments of his Precognition ability. Without his myraid of powers to rely on, Joseph has learned to rely more and more on his sword and his own skill in battle to overcome his foes.
Joseph learned long ago that his 'dreams' are actually visions of the future, and he spends most of his time piecing together what he can to try and decipher them to try and prevent the often horrific visions he sees. However much he knows about the future is a secret he keeps to himself unless his friends need to know in order to forstall disaster. One new ability Joseph has found is that since arriving on Primal Earth, he has discovered a latent Telepathic ability. He has learned quickly how to control and understand him, allowing him to 'sense' the presense of other Telepaths, Magic users, and Dimensional Entities or Travelers. Joseph uses a few Magic artifacts to keep his Telepathy in check so he isn't tearing open the minds of others at a glance. While he retains the ability to easily read a person's mind, he never delves deeper than finding a person's name unless he is faced by an enemy and he must find their weakness.
Dimensional Travel
Long before the Dawn of the Metahuman on Alpha Earth, Joseph has been focused on his ongoing mission to pursue the Villain known as the Dark Wizard. Joseph may appear only 19, but he has lived for over two centuries, and has traveled to countless worlds, timelines and dimensions. His long life and experiences have left him somewhat jaded, submissive to the idea that he may never complete his mission and at long last be able to return home to the loved ones he left behind. Primal Earth is yet another temporary holdover on his interdimensional journey for redemption, and Joseph keeps the people he meets here at arms reach. Joseph grew weary years ago of breaking the hearts of people he meets in his travels by having to leave them behind forever, and keeps others at a distance to keep from having to hurt him when the inevitible happens and he leaves Primal Earth behind.

Costumes
Joseph has two costumes; his Original Madrigal costume with a brighter and more youthful appearance than his battle hardened Red Knight costume that incorporates a darker color scheme and armor plates on his chest, arms, hands and legs.
