A skilled Widow, and Matthew Burke's mother, Martha Burke trained for years in the Aracnos military and continues to do off-the-record detective work for certain "interested parties." In short, she knows a lot about the inner workings of Arachnos politically. Most of the time, Martha uses this knowledge to her advantage. For what purpose, you may ask? Well, simply put, let's say that Matthew Burke's love for Harby's didn't develop out of thin air. Martha uses her insider knowledge for Harby's coupons and complementary dinners. Many of her subordinates have commented that if Martha used her knowledge for greater goals, she could probably earn a seat beside Lord Recluse himself.
