Darkess History
Darkess was born in Miami Florida where he resided in his family summer home for the first few years of his life. Due to his dark powers his existance was sheltered.When he was 11 one day he was almost kidnapped by the circle of thorn, but in a burst of rage he sent waves of dark energy that instantly killed the henchmen and their leader. With his latent ability blossoming he was sequested through a channel of shelters by order of the Menders of Ouroborus. His parents knowing that paragon city treats mutants very well sent him to the prestigious Evolution-X institute for mutants. In truth this was a request from the Menders of Oubororous (knowing how fine an institution Evolution-X was) so that the circle of thorn did not get their hands on him and open a gate to the Netherworld. When he arrived at the institute he was greeted by Metal Smith and Attache'.
O'Brien Clan
The O'Brien clan are the ones responsible for the large Banking institution First National Bank Of Paragon City.. They are a mutant clan known for producing offspring with extreme energy manipulation. This is because redeemed Nictus and Kheldians merge with ancestors of the clan who had a unique mutant power which made their DNA very adaptive. From then on the clan has always exibited energy manipulation. Every generation some members are born with Kheldian DNA or Nictus DNA and have the same abilities as a Kheldian or Nictus earning him or her the titles of either Peacebringer or Warshade. Event when their not full Kheldian or Nictus the clan members have somewhat of the same weakness as a Kheldian or Nictus to Quantom Array Rifles.
Darkess's Powers
Like all non-kheldian or non-nictus members of his family he can control only one type of energy in his case dark energy. Darkess can drain an enemies's strenght for health. He can drop dark energy and slow down enemies or even take an enemy's strenght to revive a fallen foe. He can project beams of dark energy at Long ranges if he concentrates, project beams that slowly kill a enemy, even drop a pit of dark energy. Through netherworld portals he can teleport others and himself. By draining the strenght of foes he can resurect a ally.
Darkess's personality
Due to his dark abilities Darkess often feels alone. He thinks no one understands him and that everyone has friends this has made him suffer from occational depression. To make up for his lonelyness he reads alot. His childhood seclusion makes him too honest and gullible.
