Character History

((Currently being re-written as the author re-read it and felt it was utter crap.))

Personality

De-Frag is an very outgoing individual who enjoys cutting up with his friend when circumstances allow. He clings to unshakable hope that there is some good in everyone, and therefore any individual who wishes to change may do so. He tends to be very protective of those around him, due to the loss of his mother and father. He always attempts to look on the bright side of any situation, never being one for dwelling on negative aspects of life. De-Frag is honest to the core, believing that at the end of the day all a man has sometimes is his word, and will never willingly tell a lie.

Powers and Abilities

Powers

De-Frag himself contains no super human abilities, but his suit allows for super-human feats of strengths, stamina, agility, and speed.

Abilities and Skills

Technological Proficiency: De-Frag is a technological genius, possessing an intricate understanding of robotics and computers. De-Frag constructed his suit from the blue-prints left by the his late professor at Paragon University, and has made vast improvements over the original design.

Avid Gamer: While entirely useless in combat, De-Frag's former civilian life left him ample time to hone his video game skills. He currently holds the record for most consecutive wins on Soul Calibur III in Kings Row.

Self Taught Fighting Style: Using a system of simulators, De-Frag has been able to teach himself the art of medieval swordplay, allowing him deadly proficiency with his energy blade. He has also learned several hand to hand attack maneuvers for when unarmed combat is required.

Weaknesses and Limitations

De-Frag is an average human, so he suffers from all the same weaknesses as any other everyday human. Due to his unnatural chivalry, he also is unable to hold any feelings of anger towards, and will do everything he can to console any crying female. This isn't hampered in anyway if the female just struck him, insulted him, and/or is a complete and total stranger. The only exception to this rule is if she had just endangered his or someone else's life.

Equipment

De-Frag wears a cybernetic battle suit and wields an energy blade.

Cybernetic Battle Suit

De-Frag's battle suit is comprised of Nanotechnology using a system of intricate nanobots. These nanobots form a protective armor around De-Frag, as well as provide a means of healing injuries, and other abilities.

Regenerative Capabilities

The suit itself fuses with the wearers own body for the period the suit is worn. This bonding is not permanent but allows for the nanobots that comprise the suit to reconstruct and repair any damaged tissue of the wearer. This allows for the user of the suit to shake off most blows, and to recover quickly from any injuries. The nanobots are capable of mending broken bones, repairing torn muscles, and closing any lacerations.

Energy Propulsion Systems

During an attack and kidnapping of fellow sentinel Bodkin-Girl De-Frag's suit was severely damaged and required extensive repairs. The teleportation device previously installed was destroyed, and since then De-Frag has redesigned the boots of the suit to allow for an energy propulsion system. Using a series of short, powerful burst, he is able to leap several stories into the air. The second use of the propulsion system is to create a small pocket of energy underneath the soles of his boots, creating an almost frictionless environment under De-Frag. This allows for him to obtain an amazing running speed, rivaling or on par with that of a meta-human.

Never one to leave well enough alone, De-Frag has managed to redesign the energy propulsion systems to allow for maintainable flight.

Power Sources

The suit itself contains three power sources, an internal source, a series of solar receptors, and finally it is able to use the energy provided by De-Frag's own body in an emergency.

Energy Blade

De-Frag wields an energy blade around the same size and feel of a medieval broadsword. Due to its construction, it is much lighter and easier to handle, but can be put through the same attack routines as the traditional weapon. The energy blade itself is comprised of mainly only one mechanical part. The hilt of the sword contains an energy source, as well as several focusing lenses. When the blade is extended, the energy passes through several lenses, focusing the beam into the sword like shape. A system of regulators only allow a certain amount of energy to be released at one time, keeping the blade from over-extending or failing completely.

Affiliations

De-Frag is a current member of the All Star Teen Sentinels.

He is also an operative in Vanguard

Relatives

De-Frag is the older brother of Lillith Davids, also known as The Wilted Rose. The two get along quite well for siblings, with De-Frag often taking the protective role. She still holds a bit of a grudge against him for the time he dismantled and reassembled her hair dryer, resulting in the singing off of her eyebrows. De-Frag still thinks it was hilarious and doesn't see what the big deal was, as he put it back together.

Friends and Colleagues

Since joining the sentinels De-Frag has come to meet, know, and like an odd assortment of individuals.

De-Frag first met Ace Troubleshooter after his fiance, The Twilight Harlequin, was injured in an attack by the Rikti. De-Frag was able to help save her life by using the regenerative properties of his suit to repair her spine while Zeiban applied medical treatment. De-Frag has become quite fond of Ace, seeing a kindred spirit in another tech geek, and fellow nerd.

When first meeting American Promise De-Frag wasn't quite sure what to make of her, seeing only a smart girl with a hammer. Soon enough though she assisted De-Frag in helping defeat several Arachnos in Faultline, and now thinks that he would be hard pressed to find a better ally at his back. She later proved this point while assisting him in defeating a Rikti War General. After the General was defeated an ambush set out on the duo and a Rikti Heavy Assault Unit knocked De-Frag unconscious. American Promise then fought the Heavy off and carried De-Frag back the ASTS HQ, further solidifying there friendship.

Enemies

De-Frag came to befriend the woman known as Reichsmaiden while heading to Wentworth's to buy some materials for upgrading his suit. He began talking with her, mostly about her past and what had brought her to Paragon. The two soon began to hit it off, with De-Frag assuring her that no one was beyond redemption, and that he would help her in any way possible. The two began dating shortly after. Their relationship came to a crashing end after Reichsmaiden attacked several of De-Frag's teammates and later when confronted about it turned on him.

After her surrender and imprisonment at Ziggursky Prison, De-Frag went to speak to her in the hopes that she may one day put her past behind her and move onward down the path to redemption. She was later released under the employment of an unknown government group, and after she attacked the Sentinels and kidnapped Bodkin-girl De-Frag has since cut off all contact from her.
