Dragon Chief’s primary power is ability to transform earth, rock and stone into an almost living entity completely under his control. He can trap enemies in prisons of stone, create localised earthquakes and quicksand and even create a powerful creature of living stone. His power is growing and he recently was able to raise the seabed to capture an Arachnos submarine; lifting it from the water before crushing the vessel.
Dragon Chief has also been imbued with the breath of Wales’ last red dragon. This ancient power enables him to empower himself and his allies to the extent that he is able to restore someone’s health from the brink of death. This power can also be used offensively to weaken enemies.
Dragon Chief has acquired several magical items to give him additional powers. His Dragon Scale Armour increases his resistance to physical attack, a Dragon Tooth Belt boosts his physical attributes to that of a professional athlete and the Cloak of Glyndwr enables him to levitate.
He can also communicate with the rest of her group with his Lodestone Brooch, which for him takes on the appearance of an amber stone in the shape of dragon’s egg encircled by a silver dragon.
Another of Chief's powers is his Fae Affinity/Sense. He is able to see and communicate with creatures that many would consider the stuff of fairytale and mythology. These creatures also seem to be drawn to him. An example of this is the faery he has dubber Gladys who follows him almost everywhere much to the annoyance of Lord Britanic.
Personality
In costume, Dragon Chief presents an image of ancient power and purpose to his enemies. In reality, he is a charmer whose charm can on occasion spill over into brashness or cockiness. He is confident, humorous and fiercely loyal to his friends. He cares about the realms he is destined to protect but does not fully understand them or his purpose yet. When needs be he is a serious student and meticulous researcher but when he's away from his books and excavations he is the life of the party.

He was researching an episode of Channel 4's History Hunters in caves beneath the island of Anglesey in North Wales when he made a discovery that would change his life and destiny forever.
Beneath the earth he found red scales belonging to some great beast – a dragon. The scales rose from the ground and formed an armour. They gave Bryn the power of the dragon and the earth of his homeland to equip him to fulfil his destiny as a defender of the ancient isles of Britain.
