ABOUT

Fizz Wizz is a Bush Troll from Dimension 109, (depending on who you talk to Dimension 109 is either a strange place that is either magical in origin or a strange quantum anomaly on the outer rim of the Milky Way).

Fizz was brought to Earth when Alpha Squad visited Dimension 109 to save Azalea Iris. (Note: This was documented in Alpha Squad Issue #17). He quickly was adopted by Floral Madness, Cobra Fist and became an original member of a new group of super villains called MEDUSA.

Background

Fizz Wizz grew up like any Bush Troll in his homeland: always hungry, and thoroughly evil and mean.

The Troll culture of bullying, cruel sports and mocking those weaker than they are suited Fizz Wizz well. He took naturally to bullying - and as a particularly strong and agile Troll, he soon climbed to the top of the social pyramid.

One day, a group of super heroes called Alpha Squad came to his home, and attacked a group of his tribe. The tribe had recently captured a powerful Druid and was about to eat her, when the super heroes rescued her and defeated many of the Trolls in the tribe.

Fizz Wizz was miffed, and saw his own younger brother Fizz Bizz, slain in the battle (all Bush Troll names rhyme and the family name is always first).

In fact, Fizz Bizz had been killed by a stray strike from another Troll (and maybe wasn’t an accident at that), but Fizz Wizz blames Alpha Squad to this day. When the Circle of Thorns offered many of the evil residents a passage to Earth, to seek revenge on Alpha Squad - Fizz Wizz quickly agreed and he has been on Earth ever since.

Powers

As a Bush Troll, Fizz Wizz is highly resistant to most physical types of damage, and he also possesses long black razor claws that can cut through metal and are a vicious attack weapon. He is about 9 feet tall, very athletic and strong enough to lift a small-sized vehicle over his head.

Personality

Fizz Wizz is mean-spirited, but playful and also very loyal to anyone who ranks above him. All Trolls are generally militaristic in nature and respect authority of those more powerful than they. On the other hand, those lower in rank are mocked, cajoled and generally abused, sometimes even eaten in Troll culture.

Current Adventures

Fizz Wizz was captured briefly by Alpha Squad but he escaped with help from Cobra Fist. However the “escape” was a ploy, as Alpha Squad was letting them escape to see where they’d go after being released. Once Fizz Wizz and the other prisoners were tracked, the base they fled to for escape was destroyed. This was a key blow to Cobra Fist’s plans.

The escape ploy so infuriated Floral Madness that she ordered her minions to take over a secret base of Freedom Corps discovered by Spydro. Once the base was captured and the Freedom Corps troops within it all killed, she formed an alliance called MEDUSA to destroy Alpha Squad once and for all. Fizz Wizz was invited to become an original member of the group.
