Guard Breaker, created 2/18/2012, was made specifically for the Teen Tyrants VG, a collaboration with many other members of United Underworld.
Personality
Ed Salvatore, born into the rich neighborhoods of Praetoria, has always been a hardline Loyalist. He's had the brainwashing of Enriche pumped into him since he was a small child. Therefore, he believes that Cole is the true savior of Praetoria and he stands above all other. However, due to an incident involving Praetor White, Ed's personal mentor who he associates himself the most with is Marauder. He even took his designs after him, having nanites and a cybernetic arm implanted on his left. He has a dreadful hate for the Resistance, Destroyers and Syndicate, believing them to be a genuine threat to society. He is occasionally sarcastic, but tends to act relatively confident and strives to lead the Tyrants into victory... and Praetoria, too.
He is considered quite observant, yet naive and arrogant.
History
Ed's parents are bankers of relative fame. The Salvatore family is known well within the confines of the banking community, both of them designing some of the most efficient financial methods that are currently used in Praetoria. His elementary and middle school years were uneventful and bland. This all changed when he turned 15.
Marauder was the target for an assassination in 2011 by the Resistance. They lined up on the rooftops as Ed and his family took a stroll down Imperial City. Very suddenly, they began to detonate bombs. Explosions run rampart around the street, but Marauder stood vigilant. Resistance dropped from the rooftops and started to combat Praetor White, PPD failing to protect him.
Ed and his family, terrified, cowered in an alleyway nearby, his father stepping in front to keep watch and him, his younger sister and his mother sitting behind. A Resistance member approached with a massive cannon. It charged up rapidly as Ed's father kept a close eye on the barrel. Right when it was about to explode and effectively kill everyone in the alley, Praetor White grabbed hold of the Resistance gunner and crushed his body.
Ed, idolizing him, decided it was time to go incognito into the Praetorian underground. He proved himself worthy with a test of strength. Then, he had to go through rigorous and antagonizing attempts to intimidate and persuade Resistance members to give him a doctor who knew how to create such brilliant biomechanical arms. Eventually, he did find this doctor and underwent surgery under the guise of serving the Resistance as a Heavy Hands specialist.
The 16-year-old Ed rested from this surgery and then single-handedly murdered the vast majority of the Resistance cell. He explained the entire plot to his parents, but not so much on the terrifying murder of many Resistance members.
Powers
His technological advantage grants him limited super-strength. His 'mechanical muscles' loosen via usage, meaning he needs as much physical training as possible in order to grow in combat. Embedded in his non-mechanical left arm is an autodispensing syringe, likely being nanotech or containing morphine. It dispenses when Guard Breaker is damaged, keeping him pushing forward.
