ORIGINS
When a meteor crashed into the Earth, bearing minerals and material not known to man, The U.S. Government leapt at the opportunity to recover the Alien stone. The researchers and recovery team where all lost in a collosal cave in at the crash site, the meteor though lost, and unretrievable by modern means.
Seventy-eight years later, Crey industries makes a shaking discovery with their deep crust siezmic mapping. A possible alien craft, imbedded deep within the Yukon. Crey Industries launched an all out recovery operation, and began digging immediatly. The Recovery team was sabotaged at their golden hour however, as a deadly airborne contaminate was released, killing the entire team. When further Search and rescue teams were sent to location to determine what happened, all sources of the alien material or craft were gone.
Two more years pass as the Council, in cooperation with a powerful weapons warlord finally figure how to crack the seal on the Alien compartment. Inside they discover several alien remains, and what seemed to be severely damaged alien control devices made of an Organic Alien Crystal. Upon removing the remains, and research began, strange happenings began plagueing the facility. the Site was abandoned and the remains moved to a more secure facility. There the Council mastered a way to geneticly replicate one of the Alien remains, and began a process to imbue Humans with the amazing qualities that the strange creature had in its DNA.
This became known as the Super Soldier project known as STARMAN. The Council were sure they had the means to produce soldiers that Paragon would not be able to keep up with, and finally take the world by the throat.
