Supergroup: Dark Cosmos

General appearance and looks

At first sight, people who have only met Janie Gunn before often mistake her for the latter. Upon more careful examination, though, the blood red color of her hair and the skin that's paler than would be healthy for a normal human being serve as a warning that this isn't the 'real' Janie they're talking to... Assuming that the smoking wings and horns don't tip them off in the first place.

History

Personality

Utterly selfish and callous as only a demon with some human traits can be. She's free, beholden to (almost - see below) no one, and reasonably powerful; there is nothing preventing her from using those powers however she wants in order to take whatever she wants from anyone not strong enough to withstand her. She works with the Dark Cosmos, not for them, mostly because their resources are occasionally useful to her (and Oort looks kind of cute.) but has no real loyalty to any of them.

She hates Luna Samson and Janie Gunn with a passion; the former because she sees her as integral in her failure to properly subvert and possess the latter, but she's had a lot of time to think about just how much she hates both of them. She has plans, but they're long term.

Weaknesses and Limitations

While she is no longer bound to the entity that originally seeded her in Janie Gunn's soul (as that entity died (would have died) in the abortive future she hails from, she had to make a few deals in local time to be able to manifest in the first place. The Twilight Entity provided her with the power and form she needed, but as a result she's bound to the same bargain as it is - and that explicitly includes combating the Rikti threat.

The fact that this unwanted duty overrides her own plans and intentions when it arises annoys her to no end.

Recent efforts by Luna Samson in Ouroboros have severely weakened this link -- as well as herself -- and she may find herself forced to take drastic measures to keep herself anchored in this time line...

Enemies

Foxtrot Company

While she is careful not to declare open hostilities with an opponent that not only vastly outnumbers her but is known to react ruthlessly to active threats, Foxtrot is aware of her existence and the fact that both her main targets are on the roster as auxiliaries and allies is enough to list her as a potential foe. So far she has been keeping a low profile while carefully accumulating power until the time is right to strike.
