Kick People Gal
From Unofficial Handbook of the Virtue Universe
The Kick People Gal is, among other things, a heroine, a martial artist, and ten pints of hyperactive energy in a five-pint body. As her alter ego, Christine Winters is a dutiful (if slightly hyper) physics student.

Personality
Normally, Kick People Gal (or KPG as she doesn't mind being called) is cheerful, chirpy, and full of enough pep to power a city block. She seems naturally tuned to a faster pace than normal human beings, and talks in extreme rapid fire unless she is totally exhausted or making a conscious effort not to.
While she's no longer a wide-eyed innocent by any stretch of the imagination, she's still remarkably idealistic and optimistic. It may not be a perfect world, but it's a marvelously complex one, with far more to see and do than a single person could ever hope for, and she's determined to see as much of it as possible and try to do some good in the process.
She has some temper problems where disparaging remarks towards her diminuitive size are concerned, and especially the larger monstrosities she fights on a daily basis sometimes have trouble taking her seriously at first. This generally ends pretty quickly when they come to the painful realization that as far as fighting is concerned, her small size just means her center of gravity is lower than theirs -- and she packs enough leg strength to dropkick a Zeus-class Titan battle droid across the street and halfway through the wall of the building on the other side...
Powers
Martial arts
KPG has an unparalleled talent for kinetic mayhem - or, in her own words, kicking things. And people. While all tests she's consented to to date register as a perfectly normal (if in unbelievably good shape) human being, it's an undisputed fact that she takes various laws of physics as little more binding than guidelines. She routinely manages to shatter bulletproof battle steel limbs with a single snap kick, successfully legsweep hulking monstrosities the size of a small house, dodge anything from a half-dozen sword strikes to interlocking fields of automatic fire and, routinely, do all of the above at more or less the same time.
She has recently mastered several minor chi techniques that allow her to focus her perceptions past enemy attempts at dodging, conserve her strength against future needs, or project a torrent of pure energy - a technique she affectionally refers to as 'Hadoken', causing her friends to revoke console gaming rights.
Travel
KPG's casual relationship with the laws of physics is never so manifest as when she's spotted leaping around the city in bounds of half a kilometer between jump-off and landing.
Weaknesses and Limitations
KPG tends to be highly impulsive and has difficulties sitting still for anything. She will try to stick with the team and the plan if either is extant, but she has a habit of going off to engage nearby enemies by herself and lose track of the tactical situation until she hears someone yelling.
As noted earlier, she can be sensitive to jokes about her size and her temper can be spectacular.
Current Whereabouts
KPG has found her spiritual calling with Unai Kemen and Portal Corp, and has been spending the past six months exploring strange new dimensions with her girlfriend, Alice Smith. However, with her application to Paragon University now accepted, she has decided to keep her explorations a little closer to home and can most often be found assisting the Shadow Shard Expeditionary Force when she isn't in the classrooms.
Trivia
- KPG chose her name in honor of the Hit People Guy, who inspired her to become a hero when he saved her and her mother from a bunch of Skulls who were out to steal her mother's purse. Despite her best efforts, however, they have never met.
- After an incident that required the fire department to be called in, KPG has a restraining order against her by the local arcade forbidding her to come within ten feet of the DDR machines.
- Perhaps unsurprisingly, KPG can both speed-read and speed-type.
