History

It is always a father’s wish to have a son, unfortunately sometimes that simply doesn’t happen. Adamo and Delia Girudice tried a total of five times to have a son, coming up with a little baby girl each and every time. This fact caused some arguments between Adamo and Delia, not to say that they didn’t love their five daughters, simply Adamo wanted a son to carry on the family name.

It was a few months after their last daughter was born that they made the conscious decision to insure that their next child would be a son.

They were both geneticists by trade and they knew exactly what to do. Generally the use of genetic engineering when trying to have a child was frowned upon. Most people wanted to leave it up to “God’s hand,” however both Adamo and Delia felt it was necessary to do.

Of course, they ended up going a bit overboard….

They wanted their son to be a perfect specimen, not only of their own genes, but of their combined scientific prowess. After removing the proper “samples” from themselves they began their work in monitoring the soon to be son. DNA was manipulated so that their child wouldn’t have a single problem in life. Diseases? None. Mental or Health Disorders? None. They wanted their son to be able to use everything a human body could use. Every ounce of muscle, every organ working perfectly together, they created in essence the perfect son.

Personality

As personalities go, Marcello can be all over the place. He can be sweet and kind one moment and the next he’s cursing and flipping tables. Obviously, he is a hot head who won’t take shit from anyone. He does have a bit of an ego, and enjoys when the spotlight is on him. A bit of a flirt, he has no problems with hitting on various people, as long as they can keep his attention or shower him with the attention themselves. Fiercely loyal, once someone becomes a friend, he will be at their side breaking faces for them until they do something to screw it up. In general he can be a loyal friend or a violent enemy.

Powers

Marcello is not super, nor is he a mutant. He is a genetically engineered human designed to to take advantage of everything the human body has to offer. Heightened strength, hearing, smell an sight all were engineered into him before birth.

As such, he is higly resistant to most known diseases, has an accelerated metabolism and is naturally stronger than a normal human being.
