Growing up
Naomi Garcia was more than just the average girl. She was born into a wealthy high-class family that resided in Founder's Fall. Born to Daniel Garcia and Rosa Smith, her father was a well-known smuggler in the underground. The PPD tried numerous times to prosecute him but failed and had successful law suits filed against them each time. Daniel became an "untouchable" due to there always being a lack of evidence in charging him with any crime. Her parents gave her the nickname "Strawberry" because at the age of 3 she was introduced to stawberry milk. She loved it and that's all she would ever ask for. Eventually that infatuation with strawberry milk turned into an infatuation with anything with strawberries. Lip gloss, chap stick, ice cream, fragrances, if it came in some form of strawberry she wanted it or had it already. Naomi was spoiled by her father while growing up, frequently showered with gifts, whatever she wanted he would get for her, no questions ask. She was, however, humble and actually asked for gifts that she didn't want but would give to her friends instead. She enjoyed her life until there was a terrible accident.
During her sweet 16, there was a raid on their estate but this was no ordinary raid. It was led by a vigilante hero known as Bionic Joe. The hero had a grudge against her father, holding him responsible for his sons death. The hero's son died to a gang fight that erupted into the street in a neighborhood where one of Daniel Garcia's safehouses was located. The child was caught by a stray bullet. Enraged the hero stormed the Garcia estate with some super-powered allies of his own, destroying everything and laying waste to the area. Daniel tried to lead Naomi away but died trying to protect his daughter. Just as the hero was about to take out Naomi as well, law enforcement showed up and secured the area. Being as the PPD had been trying to bring in Daniel for years, they tried to cover up the mess as best they could. In the end, the story was Bionic Joe broke up a hostage situation. As for Naomi, she was brought in for questioning and was even scammed into signing a confession saying she was an accomplice in all of her father's drug dealings and even murdered three people, including Bionic Joe's son. She was sentenced to life in prison.
Mental Breakdown
The incident left Naomi in a state of trauma. Being manipulated into claiming things she did not do in a confession, she was to be sent to Juvenile detention area in the Zig. While in the Zig, Naomi was constantly abused by fellow juvenile inmates and even some corrupt correction officers. She became a mute, never saying a word, and never eating. A therapist was assigned to her after it was discovered she was attempting to commit suicide in her cell. The therapist couldn't get anything out of Naomi, she wouldn't respond to anything and just stared with a blank expression on her face.
Three years later, now Naomi was in the adult area of the Zig and life was worse. One day during lunch hour, there was strawberry mixed applesauce being served. As Naomi grabbed her plate and sat down, tasting the applesauce, for the first time in years, she smiled. Just then, a female inmate came and threw Naomi's tray to the ground. In an instant, Naomi stood up, shoving her fingers into the inmates eyes. Other inmates came to jump in and Naomi vigorously fought them off in an enraged set. The correction officers worried, came in rushing with riot gear and beat her into submission, then taking her to solitary until her therapist would ask for her.
After some discussion, the therapist gave Naomi an offer, open up, talk, answer her questions and express her feelings in exchange for strawberry ice cream. For the first time in three years, the therapist heard Naomi speak as she whispered, "Okay". Word spread througout the Zig about the "eye gouging girl that throws fits over strawberries". Naomi still stayed to herself, not conversating with any other inmates and simply did as she was told.
Two years later, one day the therapist told Naomi that her liking of strawberries was an addiction and she wanted her to stop being addicted to them. The therapist threatened to not give her anymore in which Naomi attacked her, viciously scratching her face and neck area. After she was subdued and taken away, the therapist (due to anger at Naomi for attacking her) declared her a psychopath and for her to be locked away in the criminally insane area of the Zig. As she was being escorted, Arachnos attacked the Zig, Naomi used this opportunity to escape this hell.
Renewed Life with Arachnos
After escaping the Zig and arriving in the Rogue Isles, Naomi was clueless as to what she would do. She knew she wouldn't be able to survive in her current state. That's when she noticed Arachnos recruiters, talking to all the Zig escapees. She approached and before the recruiter could ask her anything she said, "I want to join, no matter what it takes, or what I have to do, I want to join." The recruiters looking at her shooed her away calling her a bum and worthless. As Naomi walked away with tear-filled eyes, she felt as if she was being watched. As she looked up she noticed that the Arachnos Widows and Fortunatas were all staring at her. She did not feel scared or uneasy however, she simply stood looking around. One stepped forward and said to her very softly, "What is it you seek?" Naomi stood, thinking to herself why is this woman talking to her. Though she felt calm, she felt as if she stood among peers. She then looked at the Fortunata in front of her and replied, "Revenge.....against them all....." The fortunata introduced herself as Kalinda and she enlisted Naomi into the Night Widow training.
Over the years, Naomi proved to be deadly Night Widow, even climbing up the ranks to serving directly under Ghost Widow herself as her muscle. Although she is one of the few that hold this position, she still considers herself to be a Night Widow, she follows and accepts orders given to her from Webmasters and other Arachnos officials, albeit they prefer to avoid working with her. She was loyal to their cause, using every inch of her body to help Arachnos achieve their goals. She was so into the cause that she even went as far as to have a tattoo of the Arachnos symbol with the words "Property of Arachnos" underneath it on her tailbone. This new life brought Naomi much joy and even a few romances, that all ended sour. There was one major issue however, whenever Naomi was in prolonged battles or against many foes she seemed to lose her mind. She would become uncontrollable, enraged, and chaotic. It's been rumored she would go as far as killing everything in her immediate vicinity. Her reputation as "Naomi the Vicious" was constantly talked about in the Arachnos ranks. Whenever it was shown that a member would have to team with her for whatever reason, that member did everything they could to try to get out of it. Those rumors came to be true as it was witnessed by a surviving ally of hers. Rather than being punished, the Arbiters decided to have her work solo due to her borderline perfect mission success rate. They would call on her when something just could not risk failing. In the meantime Naomi used her new semi-freedom to hunt down and kill the hero that gave her a life of torment, along with everyone else in her path to him. She became bored after some time as the Arbiters and Ghost Widow rarely called for her.
Vicious weaves her web
Being out of work, Naomi began to search for other means and channels to receive work. Upon doing so, she ran into a man named Sean Casus aka Sonus Casus. After some discussion, he informed her of a branch of Arachnos known as BlackWeb and that they could provide her with assignments, putting her expertise to use. After going on an assignment to lessen the amount of Family activity both in St. Martial and in Port Oakes with Sonus and other agents of Blackweb, she was accepted into their ranks. Leaving and trying to forget most of her past, she lives a different life although it seems she naturally becamed attracted to the upper-class style of living. She permanetely rents a room in the Giza in St. Martial and can be frequently seen in the casinos. She is off-duty most of the time unless called upon, in which she immediately goes to work to complete her objectives. Though having no close friends as of late or a family to call her own, she pleases herself by indulging in the one thing she loves the most: strawberries.
A spider leaves the web
Naomi's life with Arachnos took a turn for the worst. She was sent on a special op to murder the family of a political figure. Cursed by her lost of a family, Naomi refused at the last minute and helped the family to leave the Isles. Upon doing so, she was marked as a traitor and hunted. The hunt led to the death of several Arachnos troops. The Isles would become a graveyard for Naomi if she did not flee, so she did. Pulling in favors from numerous contacts, Naomi managed to sneak her way into Paragon where she hid from Arachnos, Longbow, and local heroes.
S.C.O.R.P.I.O.
After hiding out in Paragon for a week, Naomi was contacted by a Russian who then teleported her to a base. He identified himself as Vladimir Kalashnikov and that he was a member of S.C.O.R.P.I.O. They saw Naomi as an asset and weapon that could be used under the right circumstances. After a brief interview, the paranoid Naomi decided to join but had to be monitored on a 24 hours basis. There was a tracking device implanted into her to watch her every move. She now goes by the codename Dancing Rose, a nickname her father had given to her, and is now an operative in their Spec-Op division.
Since then, Naomi has become her own person. Though she still follows her orders without question, she has become happier saving the lives of the innocent. She has become more approachable, a very big socialite like in her teenage years, a huge flirt, and protective of those she considers friends. Though she still mourns her family everyday, the discovery of a brother that was kept secret from her has slowly healed those wounds. Still living her life as a soldier, there is still and perhaps always will be one thing that brings a smile to her face: strawberries.
