His Robots
Professor McKnight's robots are named after the Roman equivalents to the Twelve Olympians in Greek mythology and all serve some purpose. Six of the twelve he regularly takes out in field tests. The twelve are as follows, sorted in relative order of importance (for him):
Jupiter
- Role: Jupiter is the personal bodyguard of the professor, directly responsible for his safety everywhere - a job he's good at considering his immense firepower and armor.
- Symbol: A Thunderbolt
Juno
- Role: Juno keeps everything working, making note of any glitches or bugs and fixes them as promptly as she can.
- Symbol: A Crown
Venus
- Role: Venus is the professor's assistant inside the lab, as well as the professor's primary medic. None of the other robots are allowed inside the lab.
- Symbol: A Dove
Mercury
- Role: Mercury gathers resources and money, whether by honest or less than reputable means.
- Symbol: A Winged Boot
Apollo
- Role: Apollo acts as a sort of scout, gathering information about enemies or locations, or anything else his master desires.
- Symbol: The Sun
Minerva
- Role: Minerva keeps the internal defenses working and updated to protect her master while he's there and his creations while he's not.
- Symbol: A Spider
Mars
- Role: Mars coordinates attacks on the field, as well as keeping the other robots focused on the task at hand.
- Symbol: A Shield
Vulcan
- Role: Vulcan is responsible for maintaining weapons and armor both on and off the battlefield.
- Symbol: An Anvil
Diana
- Role: Diana briefs the outgoing team on their next target or goal and occasionally gives them updates while they're in the field.
- Symbol: The Moon
Neptune
- Role: Neptune keeps the transportation up and running, whether it be something as simple as a bicycle, or as complicated as a private jet.
- Symbol: A Trident
Ceres
- Role: Ceres keeps the garden and the greenhouse maintained as well as being the one to tend to the animals that her master keeps, whether they be pets or otherwise.
- Symbol: A Torch
Bacchus
- Role: Bacchus keeps the entertainment going. Television, radio, theaters - both digital and live - are his domain.
