IMPORTANT NOTICE
All of the information in this document is outdated. The individual known as Psyrun does no longer exist. It appears she has merged with the the individual known as Baelyn Ramsey, the two of them having formed an immensely powerful gestalt consciousness. It is yet unclear how this was achieved and the threat level of this new entity is yet to be properly assessed. Though it can be assumed that it classifies as APOCALYPTIC, given that Baelyn Ramsey held this classification all on her own. The new entity goes by The Eternal Symphony and is capable of freely splitting itself into two or more separate bodies that act somewhat independently from one another, though they seem to share their respective perceptions.
Caution is advised when approaching this entity as its motivations are yet to be determined.
Public Info
Psyrun has managed to avoid the public eye for the most part. She could be seen on news footage covering ongoing bank robberies twice but each time her face was obscured. Aside from this, there have been reports on the Etoile Isles about a young girl murdering people seemingly at random by making their heads explode, which fit Psyrun's description. The Rogue Isle Protector wrote a piece that made connections to a mass murder that occurred at a home for the disabled in Mercy in early 2018, shortly before the first reports of the "purple haired assailant" came in.
Profile
As a paraplegic, paralyzed from the waist downward, Psyrun is fully reliant on her psychic abilities to be able to move about freely. Unlike baseline humans that achieved the status of being a psychic purely through arduous, year long training, Psyrun's access to these metaphysical abilities stems from her evolved amygdala, which are designed to provide access to them naturally. This explains how her emotions govern the extend to which she is able to influence her surroundings and the minds of others. Mind control, telepathy and the creation of psionic constructs, in other words, more complex tasks, are easier for her to achieve when she is calm and collected. Telekinesis and pyrokinesis, which are more crude applications of psychic manipulation, become drastically more potent when she is in a heightened emotional state, especially anger or fear. The psionic exoskeleton surrounding her legs and hips requires substantial effort on her part to uphold and she would be much more potent in her abilities if she would simply opt to levitate herself or, even more so, if she would choose to use a wheelchair. It can be assumed, that should she decide to dissolve it before or during an engagement with enemies, her combat efficiency would at least double.
Personality and Appearance
Psyrun shows slight sociopathic tendencies, adopting different behaviors depending on the people she is currently surrounded by, in what often seems like a desperate attempt to fit in. For the longest time, she tended to default to a rather bratty, childish demeanor, which now seems to have been replaced with a gentle, seemingly caring attitude, especially towards other mutants. Nevertheless, she still varies drastically in her behavior and especially her lingo depending on who she is currently with, apparently acting dumber or smarter than she actually is if she believes she can gain something out of doing so. This unpredictable nature of hers plays a factor in her estimated threat level as well (see below).
Psyrun seems to have an obvious preference for the color purple, both her hair and attire reflecting this. While opting to obscure her face with a scarf and pair of goggles in the past at nearly all occasions, she now shows it way more often. Her upper body is toned and athletic, while her legs are extremely frail, with her muscles clearly being underdeveloped. From the waist downward, she is virtually at all times surrounded by the visual psionic exoskeleton she creates.
Threat Level
Among mutants, her power can be considered among the upper half of the spectrum in regards to general usefulness and possible threat. While in and of itself, it doesn't do much, it is the fact that it provides her easy access to extremely dangerous psychic abilities and an unpredictable amount of potential in enhancing them further via proper training, that makes it threatening. Training which she received directly from the known terrorist and psychic super villain turned diplomat, founder of Nation, Agony. All this more than justifies deeming her threat level to be VERY HIGH, though given her fluctuations in power based on her emotional state and the general lack in information about how potent each of her psychic abilities are on average, it is hard to make an accurate assessment.
Origin
Charlotte Fleetwood's parents died when she was four years old after a gas line below their house in Mercy exploded. She herself survived but was trapped under debris for almost an entire day, during which one of her lower vertebra was virtually pulverized, nerves obviously severed in the process. The remains of it had to be surgically removed and her spine was somewhat shoddily reconnected, resulting in her having a very shallow back and being shorter than she should be. She spent the next thirteen years in a home for the disabled, also on Mercy Island, during which she was not only sheltered and cut off from the outside world, never really receiving proper education, but was also sexually abused by one of the male nurses. She began to realize that she could move small objects with her mind shortly before her 17th birthday and withing two weeks, was powerful enough to flee the building, killing everyone inside on her way out in a fit of maniacal rage.
Activity
After becoming a disciple of Agony and official citizen of Nation in spring 2019, Psyrun began following her mentor's (and according to rumors also lover's) teachings almost religiously, spreading the word about the perceived dangers of magic and trying to offer help and a home to any and all mutants, or as citizens of Nation and a growing number of the general populace refer to them, evolved, she meets by inviting them to visit Nation's embassy in Paragon City, just like it was offered and provided for her. Around the same time she quit Carson Academy, an all mutant high school/university located on the Etoile Isles for unknown reasons. Circumstantial evidence hints at her having been part of a villain group, apparently calling themselves "The Piss Bandits", which, as far as is known, only ever committed a single robbery on a bank on the Etoiles. During this time she was seen a lot in the company of the heroes known as Lover Boy, Vicious Aqua and Rainbow Rocket, apparently having befriended them. In June of the same year she got into a relationship with Baelyn Ramsey, a mutant girl deemed an APOCALYPTIC level threat and quarantined to the Etoiles by Longbow.
