I see you have found my file. This must mean you have sort of interest in who or what I am. The file you have found has been compiled and edited by myself. Do not fret, I have given plenty of information to digest. If you are curious if the other organizations have more information, simply know that I have replaced them all with identical copies. Besides, my compilation has more information in it then they had managed to compile.

The Name
I have been asked recently about my name. Names are always a tricky thing with my kind as it denotes some sort of order upon them. Typically, they use various sorts of titles and change and shift as they do. As with the rest my name has shifted from time to time. The first name I remember eve being called is Ashrael, but that is such a faded memory, I could not even tell you who it was. In more recent memories, I was called Spyder, because the mechanical form I inhabited had four extra arms used in industrial and mechanical endeavors. Upon its destruction I became Alastaire Revan, which soon became the Revanent. Now that I work for Arachnos, I enjoy the Spyder part and have simply put them together. Spyder Revanent or Spyder Revenant, they are both correct.
Origin & Background:
What follows is excerpts from the Longbow case interview performed by Agent Wilhelm.
AW: Can you tell us a little about where you are from?
- SR: It is a rather difficult explanation, but I will do what I can to make you understand. My people as you would call them exist between the dimensions in which you inhabit. They are the children of Corruption and Discord.
AW: Our file says you are from a small town in Texas according to your prints.
- SR: I can understand your confusion, but this shell is not I.
AW: Could you elaborate?
- SR: Perhaps at a later time. You were asking about where I am from. We should conclude that subject before moving on. My kind exist to balance the Purity and Order that is your dimensions. Consider it a good thing that you have not encountered one of us prior to now.
AW: Should we be concerned about more of your kind arriving?
- SR: Definitely, unlike myself, they are engines of corruption and discord with no bounds.
AW: But not you. What makes you different?
- SR: *Spyder smiles at this question.* Outside interference. There was once an invasion in another dimension, the result changed my destiny.
AW: So how did you get to this dimension?
- SR: The first Rikti invasion, their actions dragged me from where I was unto here. The trip nearly obliterated one such as I.
AW: If you came across during the first invasion, why have we not encountered you until now.
- SR: I was little more than some unknown organic matter lying about. It took some enterprising scientist to bring me to this state.
AW: You are referring the destroyed lab in which we found you. Can we talk on this now? It is later.
- SR: That it is. From what I have pieced together, some scientist backed by someone decided to experiment with that unknown biomass. They injected it into this vessel which you see before you. It had some negative affects. Namely, it killed him.
AW: So this Mathias Twilight can be considered deceased?
- SR: Indeed, there is nothing left of him in here. What these scientist failed to realize is the biomass was not deceased and promptly infected the body with me.
AW: You seem rather calm, why did you destroy the lab?
- SR: Imagine being pulled through a cheese grater and still being alive. Now you have been stuffed into an unfamiliar vessel. These things can be rather traumatic. I went a little primal on the place. I was uncontrolled then, now I have regained my composure.
AW: So are you saying that you are not dangerous?
- SR: Don't speak nonsense. Of course, I am dangerous. I am a child of Corruption and Discord.
AW: I think we are done with this interview.
Duties & Assignments
Originally, I was on loan to Vanguard and other various organizations. Recently, however, I have had my talents put to use in re-organization of Fort Hades. It seems the higher ups feel my deceased status and my understand of blending tech and mystical together is suited for the study of the ghosts. Currently, I am working to restock equipment and to find suitable personnel to bring the fort to optimal.
