Toxpin, AKA Nick Wyatt, is a hero operating out of Paragon City. Claiming to be a native of Paragon Heights (Galaxy City), he's gone on record as citing the destruction of the area as the reason for his return to duty after nearly four years of sporadic service to the City and the Hero community.
Records indicate that Toxpin's first known activities place him in the Rogue Isles at age 16. Why and how he got there are not officially known, but in interviews, Toxpin claims charges were fabricated by Crey and the Paragon Protector program to place him in the Zig, where he was forcibly entered into Arachnos' supposed "Destined One" regime. During this time he was associated with a group known only as The Orphanage, a villain group believed to be a front for heroic activities in the Rogue Isles.
The group arranged for Toxpin to return to Paragon City, and upon his return, friendships with heroes Zoe Brightstar and Bobby Thistle led him to join the Zenvious Foundation's corps of Heroes. Most of his known exploits take place during his membership of the group, where he, along wtih Zoe, Bobby, and the Graffiti Samurai briefly formed a small group they called Z-Force 1.
The Z-Force 1 team would remain close until unknown events in Arizona, after which the four all receded from even the limited spotlight they had gained. During this time, a comic, "Toxpin and Z-Force One" was published in and around Paragon City. Eventually, Zoe and Bobby retired from heroics, and the Graffiti Samurai's location became unknown.
Eventually, though, the Zenvious Foundation was dissolved, and afterwards, Toxpin began to drift in and out of service. It's again unknown what he did during his periods of inactivity, but he has yet to give any interviews following his most recent return to service, save a soundbite given in the days following Galaxy City's destruction.
Powers
Toxpin's known powers/mutations on file are as follows:
- Venom glands, creating a paralytic venom that acts similarly to some forms of local anesthetic, paralyzing muscle tissue and dulling nerves, secreted naturally along with sweat, effectively giving him venomous skin and touch
- The ability to quickly form and detach hollow bone spines, used as weapons to deliver a concentrated form of his venom
- Extreme level regeneration, able to recover from most, possibly all, lethal injuries, regrow and reattach limbs, resist and recover from most phyto- and zootoxins (plant and animal derived poisons) nearly instantly, heightened immune system, resist most pharmaceutical drugs
- Bio-energy release through specialized structures in eyes
- Reptilian features, fine scales covering skin, increased muscle density
- Low to moderate level of super human strength
- Super human leaping ability
Power Level
Toxpin is now believed to be one of the numerous Heroes reclassified as an Incarnate-level being. It is believed that his immensely powerful regeneration has now progressed to the point that he may in fact be functionally immortal, although the recent death of Statesman may imply that such a claim can be circumvented. In addition, he, like many such Incarnates has manifested new abilities recently. Notably, he has been seen calling forth a strike of lightning-like energy against particularly strong foes. It is unknown thus far how he does so.
Known Associates
Toxpin has been associated with various groups and individuals throughout his career, and the specific list is being compiled.
