Intelligent and sarcastic, Andre tends to be deadpan, concerning himself with the statistical side of heroing. A slave to logic, he assesses each situation and follows the course that leads to the most beneficial outcome. When working to outthink his opponents, he tends to utter phrases from assorted science-fiction movies and novels.
Powers
Archery
Andre's gloves are wired in a network with his goggles, allowing him to target and hit foes with near-perfect accuracy. Using a compound bow and a variety of arrowheads, he can pin down an entire gang at an alarming rate.
Devices
Using his engineering knowledge, Andre puts together a variety of gadgets to aid him and hinder his foes.
Character History
Andre Nelson was the average sophomore nerd. He played too many video games, read too many sci-fi novels, dismantled too many illegal Rikti battlesuits. Aspiring for an early internship with NASA, hero work was always out of the question; the risks outweighed the benefits. But when the Hellions set fire to his Steel Canyon apartment, his plans also went up in flames. The smoke did permanent damage to his eyes before a hero called Shadow Atoned pulled him from the building. Now, using his engineering prowess and analytical mind, he aids his rescuer in defending the city.
Divine Rogue
During a patrol of Steel Canyon, the Unblinking Watchman ran into another superpowered teenager, in the act of stealing a car. Wearing a leather jacket, a wide-brimmed fedora, and wielding the Flame of Prometheus from the tattoos on his arms and hands, the Divine Rogue proved an equal match to the Watchman. They clashed again and again, soon eagerly anticipating each battle. Each vows one day to expose the other's identity.
Andre's suspicions are aroused by the ever-present gloves on his best friend's hands, but there's no way Donovan would be a villain...would he?
Annie Axrial
On a research trip into Croatoa, Andre ran into a mesmerizing young woman with purple hair. Calling herself Annie, she claimed that Andre "looked like La Forge", and he immediately fell for her. After the two broke a world record at Time Crisis 2 in the Talos Island arcade, they became inseparable.
Yet, in the back of his mind, Andre cannot forget Annie's true identity as the demoness Krae. Can she really be trusted? Is it all an act? Only time will tell.
