Foreword

(Pardon the dust here! This page is under construction.)

Hello! First of all, thanks for reading my character's page - I appreciate your curiosity! Xander is one of my favorite characters, and son of my original hero, Gelle. Xander is apart of 5 years of role play and short fiction written while I was bored when I was in college - and sometimes still written on the weekend. I want to thank all of my friends who made 5 years of a cohesive storyline possible through coaching, time, practice, fun, and lots of patience.

Thanks most of all to Vincent Jaeger who is the cause for this character and of my biggest role models in the role playing community of 2006-2008 (please come back...T_T). I haven't heard from Jaeger's player in a long time - but I'm attempting to keep the class, skill, and finesse that he had in his character. Thanks Mike - wherever you are, you're always in my thoughts on the birthday we share <3.

File One: Creation

[I hope these logs and... findings... can help me understand exactly what it is I am.]

-As told by Xander's Mother, Gelle -Paraphrased by Xander Shade.-

Vincent Jaeger was a clever scientist who worked with Arbiter Death and Villains of Paragon City. Known for his many talents with science, it wasn't surprising when Jaeger crafted the perfect human enhancing organisms and viruses to make him into a living God. Perhaps fate decided to have a bit of fun when his path crossed with Gelle's. Thanks to a nasty injury caused by Arbiter Death's idiocy, the good Dr. was asked to patch her up. In doing so he found her certain DNA structure rather amusing and curious - thus the want to learn more about her began.

Mistaking this for affection, Gelle fell in love with the mad scientist who injected her with a multitude of things as a means to cure whatever it was that Arbiter Death had done to her. A few months of seeing one another, (and Vincent Jaeger deciding that Gelle was a good host) their feelings for one another led to the impregnation of Xander, and three months into Gelle's pregnancy Vincent Jaeger completely disappeared.

If it hadn't been for the love and affection from his parents Gelle and Arbiter Shade, Xander may as well be the same sociopath that Vincent Jaeger had been - perhaps still is. Who knows? No one has seen the man in a long time. Known for his plotting, he may still be out there.

File Two: Power Discoveries

I've found myself able to bend and shape all forms of DNA I have come across, and some forms of matter and energy. I can't help but think that this stems from the man who essentially created me. My mother doesn't like talking about him often, and I understand why. I felt bad at first when I started to move DNA in small animals - but when sedated there are no issues.... Learned that the hard way. I still feel really guilty about the pain I caused the first two - but I was only seven and curious. My pet rat Albert and I have been best friends for Twenty years now - and thanks to my ability to shift and accelerate his DNA and energy, he doesn't look a day over one year old.

I've been able to control my powers more regularly since I've been working with my father, and I feel myself grow stronger daily.)
