"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." -- Arthur C. Clarke
Introduction
DJ Enigma is a deejay for the Cape, a radio station that caters specifically to the "super" community of Paragon City and beyond. Given her name, it should come as no surprise that she is a bit of a mystery. Many actually assume she is some variety of robot or android, and not without good reason as she certainly looks the part. However, she has been known to make comments that place this presumption in doubt, and although she does indeed appear to be a technological construct of some sort, as a hero she is registered with MAGI rather than with DATA.
So, what is known about this mysterious entity?
Personality
Primary Persona
At first approach, getting acquainted with DJ Enigma may seem like a daunting task, as on the surface she presents a relatively detached demeanor. Involved deeply with her music and its presentation, she is often only tangentially engaged with those around her. Indeed, her comments lend credence to this impression, as they quite often border upon being non sequiturs, hinting at a perspective that is at the least bizarre, and often quite alien.
It is clear, however, that as an entity, DJ Enigma shares more with her audience than is at first apparent. She seems to take honest, enthusiastic pleasure when those around her share the happiness in their lives, as well as definite concern for their troubles, so long as those troubles do not seem trivial.
Her generally optimistic and cheerful nature falls within human norms, though it often expresses itself in strange, eccentric ways. But nothing shows her affinity with humanity on a more essential and convincing level than her deep appreciation of human music.

History
DJ Enigma registered with MAGI on November 7th of 2005 and began broadcasting on the Cape two weeks later, on November 21st. There is no record of her existence prior to these dates. There is, however, a photograph of a "foo fighter" taken in the autumn of 1941 above the Indian Ocean that does bear a resemblance to DJ Enigma while she is in her "battle configuration".
Broadcast History
DJ Enigma Presents
"DJ Enigma Presents" began as a weekly show. Each session of the program was built around a particular theme. The program ran steadily in an 11PM-2AM EST timeslot for about 6 months, after which time DJ Enigma went on a brief hiatus. When she returned, new sessions of the show became infrequent (2007 saw only 3 installments). Although future sessions are planned, it's highly doubtful "DJ Enigma Presents" will ever return to a weekly schedule.
- Session 1: Heropolitan: Air Date: November 21st, 2005. DJ Enigma's debut show, dedicated to the heroes of Paragon. It was broadcast from Gemini Park in Galaxy City. During the presentation, DJ Enigma assumed the appearance and persona of "The Astonishing Astro Lass".

Club Interlude
"Club Interlude" was a series of shows that focused on the softer side of song. It was music for breakfast in bed, getting lost in daydreams and lounging in the shade.

The Stream of Subconsciousness
When a deejay broadcasts outside of scheduled programming, it's called streamholding. "The Stream of Subconsciousness" is DJ Enigma's version of this task, and her streamholding presentation has been steadily evolving over the past two years. Currently, DJ Enigma's streamholds include the following special features:
- Tribute Tripleshot: Three different acts performing three different cover songs, all originally by the same artist.
- Global Signal: A block of world music from an international array of artists.
- The Retrophone: A block of music from a particular year, from 1970 to 1995.
- Dementiaplex: Novelty songs, comedy skits, and stand-up routines.
