Affiliations
- Nation - Nation was Aya's first home when she arrived in the superpowered world. She was quite happy in the station until most of her friends left and the activity there seemed to stagnate... she slipped out without a word and has been trying to avoid the wrath of Black Agony. Which didn't, as it seems, work - he has a vendetta against her.
- branded - Aya followed Woefull to her new super group after her escape from Nation. When Woe seemed to have a psychotic (psychoticer) break, Aya left, only to come back again after Woe left. She refuses to sleep in the safehouse, though, preferring her own home.
Friends
- Dr. Nihilus - The "good doctor," as she refers to him, and Aya had a good relationship, before Aya departed Nation. When her lungs were filling with plant matter due to an overcharging of her powers, he was the one to save her life. Unfortunately, she hasn't seen him since she left.
- Canvas - Aya has said she'd follow Canvas off the edge of the world, even overriding the orders of her once-Exarch. Rumor has it that she might've been in love with the fragile girl, despite their inability to touch. Aya's more navel-gazing moments are filled with angst over the mutant who has been referred to as a work of art.
Foes
- Woefull - Woe held Aya on her first night on Nation, calming her nerves considerably. They've been fast friends ever since - or at least, they were, until Woe had a change of heart.
- Shade Nefarious - Shade and Aya have a long history. She went to him to solve the problem of Crushing Violet and her then-fiancee, Gatecrash - he turned her to stone and forced Angie to kill herself to bring her back. Since then he's apologized, but Aya knows better than to trust a demon.
- Forced Insanity - FI went after Raine due to some politics Aya wasn't privy to, and unfortunately for Aya, found the teenager when Aya was around. The older woman, in protecting the younger, ended up taking a knife to the chest, but at least she got a knife out of it, right?
