While believed dead, Swatbot activity, and hazy pictures of what may be Iceciro, are sending meta-intelligence services around the globe reeling for information and confirmation of a possible return. This archival data may be incorrect if he has returned.

On the surface, Iceciro is a confused, selfish, and at times cruel hearted individual. He appears to be an upstart teenager, hardly at all worth noticing, but those who underestimate him do so to their peril, as does anyone laying a hand on his "suit". His odd mannerisms and varying levels of emotional complexity indicate that there is in fact much more under that surface than one would think.

Personality

You're an ass. -Callisto Blair, to Iceciro

Iceciro at many times comes off as a brash upstart, threatening anyone who doesn't give him his way, often with claims that seem outrageously outlandish. At the same time, however, many of them are true, though not necessarily to the extent he claims. His traumatic past has left him a bit scarred, and he will waver from one emotional state to the next, one moment talking like a young child, and the next threatening your life and the life of your loved ones. Iceciro is part super-villain and part confused teenager, and sometimes even reverts back to things that would be normal for a 12 year old. He has matured in an odd way, and sometimes not at all, and is at times very easy to emotionally "read".

He has curious methods to referring to things - Arachnos are "Spiders", Recluse is "Lord Reccy", etc.

While originally he came off as a harsh brat, his work at becoming a more... personable individual has paid off, allowing him to hide more of his true nature behind a facade of charm and wit.

Powers

Iceciro's principle power is the ability of his suit to absorb any energy of any kind from anything it touches, or to draw it in a limited fashion at range. His ice blast powers are merely an upgraded and finely tuned version of the powers of fallen hero Frostbyte, the first hero Iceciro ever downed. His robotic hands fire slightly-tangible beams which draw an enemy's powers into themselves to power the suit, allowing Iceciro to decrease his enemy's fighting potential and increase his own. A fight that starts out with Iceciro outmatched can drastically swing in the other direction. He can also release the enemy's energy into the area as a powerful wave of healing for himself and any allies he may have nearby, or use the suit's discharge mechanisms to infuse others with a small portion of the power he has stored up. By initiating a controlled "power burn" he can drastically increase the rate at which he is able to unleash all of his devastating powers, both drain and ice types, upon his enemies. Lastly, his suits contain an anti-gravity mechanism which allows him to float effortlessly and incredibly quickly. The vast amounts of power behind his suit means that despite it's weight, it can move incredibly fast.

The "Ice" he creates is more than the average ice you'd get from anywhere else. Just as when carbon compresses incredibly it becomes the hardest material on earth, diamonds, Iceciro compresses the frozen water to an incredible degree, creating superdense crystalized Ice able to punch through the toughest of armors.

More recently he has overcome one of his weaknesses by laying his hands on a Ritki implant that makes it nearly impossible to invade his mind psionically. The implant takes a lot of power to use at it's full potential, and is usually left on at a light state, merely making such intrusions difficult. The implant can only be left on at maximum level for a brief time, however in this state it is more than capable of fending off psionic intrusions, even from the likes of Sister Psyche.

Iceciro has coined the title "Iktir Matrix" to describe the leeching aspect of his suit. For those of you interested in the more technical side of how it works, follow the link.

Longbow has put together what they believe to be a comprehensive list of Iceciro's powers and capabilities in his primary suit. The document is available for those with Class C or greater level access, here Iceciro's Power Profile.

Other suits

One of the more unique abilities of Iceciro's way of getting powers is that given time, he can synthesize powers he has stolen or borrowed into new suits. Sometimes these suits become full-time weapons he uses in his constant war to be the strongest, and other times he simply uses the knowledge he's used to improve himself in another way.

The most well-known suit he donned aside from his classic ice-blasting variant was the now defunct Psiciro suit.

Character History

Notes

This is an abridged version. Most of this information is known by someone in-character, or could be attained with little digging in the right places.

For a more in-depth and OOC version of his formative years, search here: Iceciro's Early Years

The First Victim

Chad Avant is his real name - the only son of a family that was presumed dead, far beyond the lines of the Ritki invasion. He was eleven at the time.

He is attributed to the 2004 killing of a beloved new hero, Frostbyte. Frostbyte was found in an alleyway, with the remains of frozen ice spears just like he once used embedded in his heart and neck. On required forensic examination something shocking was discovered. Frostbyte's once clear mutant powers were nowhere to be noticed. His body seemed drained of all forms of energy, both stored sugar and oxygen in the blood, as well as damaged DNA in tested cells. He appeared to be malnourished additionally, contrary to how he looked earlier in the day. Frostbyte's powers are assumed to be what allows Iceciro to form and control ice as he does this very day.

Capture and Trial

In 2006, he was captured after killing another mutant hero, this time an Archer hero named Swift Arrow. He was seen in the process by a Longbow agent on patrol, and after a long combat, was eventually exhausted of his energy, but not before sending several members of Longbow to the hospital with various injuries and levels of "drain". Due to his age at the time (still only 16) and the brutal nature of his crimes, his trial was not sensationalized as much as it could have been. He was sentenced to life in the Ziggurat and transfered to the Young Offenders section, where he remained until Arachnos broke into the Zig and rescued him along with many others. His gloves had been replaced with non-lethal prosthetics, and destroyed instead of being moved to Evidence, so he had to fight his way out with the rubber imitations. Instead of being dropped off at Mercy, like other villains, he smuggled himself back to Paragon City to retrieve secondary power ampules he had hidden, containing enough of Frostybyte's power to get him up and running again.

Post-Trial

His work between then and now is unknown, save for a few high-profile robberies, but eventually his arms became a full suit, with his head the only apparently biological part. His powers have vastly increased since then, as has his status. He has climbed the brutal cutthroat ranks of the Arachnos Ladder and is now an Arbiter - under control of only Arbiter Daos and Recluse himself.

Hs other most commonly seen cohorts are an alien monster called World Eater DuLimmar, and the mercenary Ryley Sharp.

DuLimmar is a massive alien with a penchant for smashing everything. Somehow the two get along incredibly well, both quite accepting of the other's thirst for power. With DuLimmar's recent understanding that he can no longer achieve his goal of conquering Earth, he is a worthy ally to Iceciro - the two fighters together are a credible match for impossible numbers of heroes and villains.

Ryley Sharpe is a mercenary, a face smasher working for top dollar and giving very effective results. It is assumed he stays with Iceciro out of loyalty to the money, not to Iceciro.

Personality Profile

While Iceciro was in the Ziggursky prison, a psychologist recieved permission to run a Jung Typology Test on him. The following report details her finding and comments.

Iceciro appears to be an ENTJ profile on the Jung Typology Test - a personality referred to commonly as a field marshal.

Of the four aspects of strategic analysis and definition, it is marshaling or situational organizing role that reaches the highest development in Fieldmarshals. As this kind of role is practiced some contingency organizing is necessary, so that the second suit of the Fieldmarshal's intellect is devising contingency plans. Structural and functional engineering, though practiced in some degree in the course of organizational operations, tend to be not nearly as well developed and are soon outstripped by the rapidly growing skills in organizing. But it must be said that any kind of strategic exercise tends to bring added strength to engineering as well as organizing skills...He seems to prefer to make his decisions to be based on impersonal data, wanting to work from well thought-out plans, to use engineered operations -- and he seems to expect others to follow suit. Although Fieldmarshals are tolerant of established procedures, they can and will abandon any procedure when it can be shown to be ineffective in accomplishing its goal. Fieldmarshals root out and reject ineffectiveness and inefficiency, and are impatient with repetition of error.

"When challenged, Iceciro may, apparently by reflex become argumentative. Alternatively he may unleash an icy gaze that serves notice: he is not one to be trifled with."

Relationships

Enemies

So much trash - so little time. -Iceciro

Iceciro is most concerned with growing his own power, and keeping those who oppose him busy enough to be reduced to a non-threat while he does so. Iceciro's most complex plans and machinations are designed to do one of two things - increase his store of Might, or keep his enemies at each other's throats long enough for him to accomplish the first goal.

Information is the key to all things - he believes this wholeheartedly and seeks to know more about his enemies, his allies, even people he's never met, hoarding it as aggressively as he hordes power itself.

Arachnos

You FOOLS. Do you know who I am? Do you know who I represent? -Iceciro, to a pack of Longbow in his way

IceNightwidow.JPG

Iceciro has been working for Arachnos in one capacity or another since he first stepped foot on the isles. From the age of 16 he's been working for "the spiders" doing pickup jobs in exchange for Ritki salvage. Recluse himself showed an interest in him, and he's was moved up to a rank called "Arachnos Arbiter Agent" - putting him above most average Arachnos agents, and giving him the ability to command a small division of troops on an emergency level. After an incredibly-high profile capture of a Longbow Spy, however, he was promoted to the rank of Arbiter, with full rank and privileges, which he uses to as much advantage as he possibly can at all times. He has often been heard threatening his enemies and saying he will "bury them in Huntsmen", a threat which is not as idle as it sounds. Should he encounter an enemy that might pose an actual threat, he is not afraid to call in more troops, or use his connections within Arachnos to level incredible force at his enemies - up to and including calling actual nuclear strikes or other weapons of mass destruction upon his enemies!

At the same time, his relationship with Arachnos is more of a tool to him, much like a screwdriver or in this case, a sledgehammer to be leveled at foes when necessary and thrown away when not. He often covertly works against the goals of Arachnos, using his Arbiter knowledge and systems access to eliminate any who have seen him and erase all records of his activity. The implant in his head which scrambles psionics is what truly gives him this luxury, however - Fortunatas get incorrect signals when trying to probe him and inform Lord Recluse that he is still loyal and subservient.

Iceciro has the distinction of defeating all of the Patrons of Lord Recluse in one-on-one combat. This makes them, understandably, incredibly wary of him, but due to his protected status as an Arbiter, they are unable to attack him directly. The Patrons begrudgingly accept him as somewhat close to an equal, and have fought alongside him at pivotal moments.

Weaknesses

While Iceciro is indeed a formidable opponent for many villains and heroes, he by no means has nothing to worry about.

Casters

Magically inclined heroes and villains do not usually pose a huge threat, as the magic is contained within themselves, or they are inhabited by a demon - both forms of energy Iceciro can weaken and copy. However, magical spells or artifacts are a different manner, and pose a huge threat as he is unable to stop them, both with his energy drain, and in most cases, with his Kinetic shield, forcing him to go for a quick and easy kill by attacking the caster directly - if he can.

Normal people

While Iceciro is superior to normal people, at the same time they are another problem for him due to lacking specific powers to steal. When a villain's only claim to fame is accuracy with his two pistols and a bunch of friends with the same, Iceciro has nothing to steal - and therefore is at an unusual disadvantage to especially well-trained individuals. At the same time, because they have no real specific powers for him to be jealous of, they tend to make better friends than other types.

Sustained assaults

At one time, Iceciro was also weak to sustained assaults, however, he has rectified this by altering his energy drain attack to release a burst of pure energy outward from the target, which he can then automatically absorb without going through the normal longer process. As long as Iceciro can survive being in close range, or can dart in and out effectively, he can continue to fight indefinably, in theory, as unlike a normal human, his metallic body never tires.

The Defeated

Iceciro has stopped many a hero and villain cold in their tracks. This list is only some of the more notable.

This list only indicates those defeated in one-on-one combat.

This list doesn't indicate a canonical "kill" - merely that the target was incapacitated to the point where they had to quit the fight or mediport away.

Synapse, Back Alley Brawler, Manticore, Sister Psyche, Ms. Liberty, Miss Liberty, Ghost Widow, Black Scorpion, Captain Mako, Sirocco, Silver Mantis
