James Perkins is a character I made as a joke for total lighthearted RP, and he evolved into an amazing character who I use for everthing nowadays. From CoV, to Def Jam fight for New York, to UFC Unleashed, I use James Perkins. His background story is of my creation, created on a fly, and then evolved into something great and that I'm quite proud of. I love RPing with new people and getting people involved with my character. So let me know OOCly and we can set something up. James Steelheart
" If you were from where I was from, You'd be dead. "
James Perkins was Born Jerames Steelheart. He was a member of the feared Steelheart Clan, Located on an uncharted island in the atlantic. The Steelheart clan are a group of relentless warriors for hire, Like mercenaries, only instead of getting a handful, you get small armies. After being forced to kill countless numbers of his peers just to advance in rank, Jerames realized he was becoming a savage like those around him, and so he stood up to those training him. He was exiled and sent out to sea on a life raft with only enough supplies to survive for a week. After drifting for 6 days, He landed in Nerva Archipelago, Taking up the name James to break away from who he was. He stumbled upon the St. Joan of Arc Catholic school, And thats where the story REALLY starts.....
School Days
James became enrolled at the St Joan of Arc catholic school and immediately, made enemies. First off was the young Kathlyn Beach. James hit on her relentlessly, untill her boyfriend, Jack Darkthorn got involved. James grew an instant hate for Jack. They became bitter enemies and tried to kill each other on a constant basis. Some good did come out of their fights. Lillie Lavelle, a new student took a liking to james and diddnt want him to be fighting. James fell in love with her, instantly, and they became boyfriend and girlfriend.
The Adoption
James and Lillie were both without parents. Elizabeth perkins, the school councelor and Asistant Principal, saw that James needed some guidance in his life, and that Lillie deserved a family. So Liz adopted them both. As akward as it was, James and Lillie still dated. James still will not let Liz live that down to this day.
The Breakdown
James felt all he was doing was causing problems for everyone around him. He decided to burn all bridges, just be ridiculously mean to everyone, pretend to hate them. Force them out of his life, then move to Paragon to start anew. He moved to Paragon, taking up the name Nyte-Arrow, becoming a hero. He was under the supervision of Frostbrand Fist, who is known as Frosty. He had an affair with her, not knowing that it was one of Lillie's friends. He returned to the isles still as Nyte-Arrow, trying to clean up crime there and keep an eye on Lillie, Liz, and everyone else he cared about. Upon Lillie finding out that Nyte-Arrow was James, James gave up and returned to the school, only he was a bit changed....... More Mature.... and yet still had that edge to him.
New Aunt
James had started training for te Templar Order. He had gotten into another tussle with Jack, and ended up in the med bay. He was feeling like there was no one who understood him. That's when He met Satine Dubois. Satine spilled her whole story to James as she tended to him. James instantly took to Satine. She is like his second mother. He loves her incredibly, and will go to the end of the earth for her to this day. He now calls her Aunt Satine, when really, She's more than that to him.
The Attack
James had always wanted to join Ghost Hound. I mean really, what else is James qualified to do other than kill for money right? And with a child on the way, he needed a job. James had been pestering Roessa to become a Hound and yet, the answer was no. However, There was one night in the D that changed James' Life forever. James had been talking to Pinky, who at this point was not on the "in" with Labal and the rest of Abyss. Mid Conversation, Labal walked up. After making Pinky run away, James turned to confront Labal, but lets face it, an Ashen Prince of hell against an 18 year old boy? I mean Really..... Anyway, James was Close to death, and got Pulled out of there by Alexis Drisdan, the school Doctor, and was taken to the school with Roessa to be worked on. It was while James was on the bed recovering that Roessa said the words he had been longing to hear "As of this moment, I'm pulling you off the Roster for St. Joans. You're joining the Hounds"
A Hound
James was a Hound at last. One of the youngest. During his time with the Hounds, James had changed. Bit more ruthless, more hot headed, and yet, more efficient. James started using guns. Changing his style. He became MUCH closer with Roessa during this time and became much more well known by his allies. James was finally making a name for himself.
The Dawning Light Academy
James was always a hunter. Sort of. He was with the Templar Order, and knew somewhat how to kill vampires. That's when Will McBlack Made the Dawning Light Academy. A Hunter cell fronted by a school. Will had taken on James as an apprentice and unlocked his magic abilities. Will taught James everything he knows now about Vampire and Demon hunting. James worked with Will in hunting down Daniel untill the day he attacked the dawning light academy.....
Phoenix Insurrection
The Academy was destroyed.... The Hounds had left the isles...... James had no wife.... No friends...... And no one to run with. That's when James turned to Clint and the Insurrection. James had known Clint and PI from his days in Ghost Hound, but never really thought he'd ever join. Clint took James into PI instantly, after all, He was a Hound. James left the Insurrection Due to personal matters, mainly to turn his life around.
Solarium Sanctis
In PI James Met Caoihme and Mako. They both left to form their own group in Paragon to help reform people and put their lives back on track. James is currently here, reforming his life, along with the lives of others.
Personality
On the outside, James is Sarcastic, Witty, maybe a bit dense, Violent, Angry, perhaps even sadistic at times. He will go from either being Cold, Heartless and Callous on a job to full out berserking. To those who James lets past his mask, which to this day is very few (Lenna, Jessii James, Kat, Jade, Violet Sanders, Keshka Di'Mir), They see he's very kind, sweet, caring, Vulnerable, and he would goto -any- end for them. Even so much as sacrifice his life in a heartbeat to save them. However.......Get on his badside? He's Mean, Coldhearted, Cruel, Sadistic, Ruthless, Relentless, and just plain -bad-. He isn't a force to be messed with.
Powers
James is a Divinely Touched human. Physically, he's completely human, save for the wings he can hide. He can use and manipulate holy energy for various purposes.
He also has the power to wield the Ka'Lu, The Spiritual plane of the Y'suru. Neither of his powers are really developed.
Friends
Will McBlack- The man training James to be a hunter. Despite what everyone says, He sees something in James. He helped James to unlock his magic. James will do whatever it takes to show Will that he's got what it takes to be a hunter, and desperatley tries to make Will proud.
Roessa- James' Big sister figure. James feels closest with her. He tells her EVERYTHING that goes on with him, because he knows she cares and listens. James has helped Roe with much, as she as helped him.
Elizabeth Perkins- James' Adopted Mother. She was the one who never gave up on changing him. Once he denounced the Clan, She adopted him, and James has never been this protective of anyone.
Satine Dubois- James' Adopted Aunt. James Looks up to her more than anyone. What she says is final. If Liza Hadn't adopted James, She probably would have.
Jessii James- James has recently met her, and has been intrigued by her. There's something about her that's different, James has been taking his time getting to know her.
Naomi Briggs- They met through some PI friends, and for a while, they weren't too close. Over time, they got to know each other and now Naomi is one of James' Closest friends. James can call on Naomi for Advice, Help with a job, or just to talk. He Cares for her, and would throw himself in harms way to protect her.Kristine Galewind- James' Girlfriend. He would goto any length for her. Even cause his own demise to save her life.
Ashkhen Steelheart- James' Childhood friend from the Steelheart Clan. SHe knew James before the Money, the women, the fame, and everything else. She's like a sister to james, Despite the fact she can be a bit.... Slow.
Marie Lavelle- James' Other adopted mother. James can relate to her most, and despite the harsh exterior, James knows she cares about him. However, Recently their relationship has been strained.
Ishaila- A very dear friend to James. Also another mother figure. She's gotten attached to James and Vice Versa. James is always willing to help Ish, and would throw himself into any situation for her.
Keshka Di'mir- Former warlord of the Di'mir clan, and extremely close friend to James. She adopted him into the clan, and attuned him to the Ka'lu
Ixtali Di'mir- One of the Di'mirs. She Is James' "Little sister" He is very defensive of her and would protect her with his life.
Lia MacKay- A Recent acquaintence of James. THey have alot in common and seem to have been through alot of the same. James will hang with her in the D whenever they're both around
Enemies
Allaric Steelheart - James' Brother. He's a steelheart Loyalist, Therefore, He has to Die.
