Appearance
Kherai has the figure of a small but fit and athletic woman. She is wearing a worn-out and dented suit of armour, which seems to be made of old parts from some other source which have been poorly welded into a composite suit of armor. Since she left Paragon City, Kherai has been less concerned about her looks. Her unwashed hair has grown longer and falls into messy, unkempt locks. Her green skin has turned grayish with dust and filth, from sleeping at random in dirty streets, alleys and hideouts.
Her scars
She does not speak much about the dark, decorative, grim scar pattern which covers most of her body. All that is known is that she left Paragon City and went to Europe to escort Gloom's coffin without a single scratch on her body due to her regenerative ability. A few weeks later she reappeared in Mercy, covered in a dark, glittering pattern of scar tissue.
Personality
Moral compass and codex
Life in the Isles is cruel and brutal, very different from the life Kherai once had in Paragon city. Still, she remains a soft and naive goody-two-shoes deep down inside.
Due to being raised in the harsh and strict Arekhorean culture, built on extreme religious fanaticism, sexism, cynical resource exploitation and hierarchical suppression, her view of the world is sometimes black and white.
Due to her failed trial, her trouble with the PPD murders and the death of her friend Gloom, Kherai regards herself with self-loathing, believing that she is a wicked and doomed individual who has no choice but to be either a fugitive or to end up dead. Despite that, she still keeps following her people's strict codes of honor.
Interests and passions
Like most Arekhorean females, Kherai was bred for combat. Kherai loves to do what she does best. Besides battling her enemies, she enjoys friendly spars with allies and friends. She is always curious about her friends' and allies' techniques and skills in hand to hand combat.
Her most obvious interest is observing the complex nature of the earth dwellers. She likes to spend hours quietly watching and listening to people in her surroundings. It's like her fascination and awe about her new home and its inhabitants will have no end.

Supergroups
- Blood Artists - also, Kherai is a former member of the hero team Hyperion Force.
Current Associates
Crystal Wolf, the fierce and eccentric Den Mother of the Blood Artists took pity on Kherai when she found her in Port Oakes. Taking Kherai under her wing, she let the young alien become a member of the Blood Artists and run with the wolf pack.
Even though they didn't speak much, as they didn't know each other well, Kherai remembers Iggy from her days in Hyperion Force. In early January 2008 they ran into each other again in Port Oakes. Iggy explained his reason for being in Oakes, and a bit about some connection to Archon X as well, and persuaded Kherai to tag along with him for some missions. The signs of this new friendship have been one of the first positive things Kherai has experienced since she fled to the Isles. Thinking of his being around brings her a little hope.
An old friend from Kherai's days in the Force. Despite Holly's mixed reputation and the series of scandals which seemed to surround her person while in the Hyperion Force, Kherai still holds her friend in very high regards, ignoring rumors and slander. After Holly's break with the Hyperion Force a few months before Kherai left Paragon City, they haven't talked and socialized as much as they used to.
Recently the two women met each other again in Pocket D. Kherai knows that Holly is busy having to deal with her family and a full-time hero job. Still, it warms Kherai's heart when she occasionally gets a SMS or e-mail from her old friend, telling her to keep her head and hopes high.
Old Associates
The dark fay junkie Gloom was the first one to befriend Kherai. She let Kherai live in her apartment in Faultline. Due to Gloom's mischief and gritty personality, and Kherai's being bossed around all the time, eventually Kherai got tired of her roommate and moved out after being invited to live in Alexia Dale's place instead. Despite their disputes, the two women had become like sisters, never stopping their care for each other. Gloom was killed in November 2007, murdered after she got rid of the assassin Vraay who was sent to kill Kherai. Gloom's death led Kherai into deep despair. She left Paragon City because she deemed herself not worthy of living there anymore.
Kate O'Riorden helped Kherai progress and fought at her side many times during the second Rikti invasion.
Kherai often misses Kate because of her bubbly personality and odd sense of humor.
One of the top leaders of Hyperion Force and the one that saved Kherai from imprisonment in the Zig. Sometimes Kherai feels ashamed and guilty about the desperation she felt in the Zig because it had forced Brendan to make a rash decision. He went against his principles and broke the law in order to save her.
The (at that time) newly-promoted leader, Alexia Dale was the one that recruited Kherai and got her into the Hyperion Force.
Similar to Kherai's relationship with Gloom, Kherai respected Alex highly like a wise elder sister. As Kherai couldn't settle with the wayward Gloom and her drug abuse, Alex invited Kherai to live in the guest room in her apartment instead.
Kherai lived there for months - until Gloom's death, when someone had to bring the fay home to her family in Europe.
The Lieutenant Commander of the Force and one of the people Kherai felt the closest connection to during her days in Paragon City. Even though she didn't have the social tools to express it, she felt that her close friendship to John was about to turn into something more than just a mutual friendship. Shortly after, her bubble was burst when John took her aside, asking her for advice in the matter of the heart - something Kherai knew nothing about. He tried to get Kherai's help and advice, admitting he had a secret but huge crush on her fellow Force member Kei Seishou. After that incident, Kherai shook off all of her previous assumptions about John... who would have an interest in a weird-looking, naive green girl anyway?
Kei was the first friend Kherai made in the Hyperion Force. Kei's honest and honorable personality as well as her skills in hand to hand combat are the definition of the personal qualities Kherai admires and respects.
Enemies
- The Rikti
As the Rikti are an old, well-known nemesis of the Arekhoreans, Kherai still harbours a fierce hatred towards the hostile alien warriors and will fight them at any chance she gets.
- The High Council of Arekhor
The High Council of Arekhor have demanded Kherai slain for her failure in her priesthood trial.
Vraay is the Arekhorean assassin the High Council had sent to exterminate Kherai.
During her espionage and infiltration of the Hyperion Force, Tzehali used Kherai as a tool of distraction. She hypnotized Kherai and forced her to commit a bank robbery, killing two PPD officers.
- Sgt. Stark of the PPD
Stark is a colleague of the two officers Kherai killed during her hypnosis. Sgt. Stark saw the order for Kherai's arrest as an opportunity to carry out his personal revenge against her. When she was arrested, he and his strike team brought Kherai to an old desolate warehouse, where they spent hours beating and torturing her before bringing her into the station.

Rumors
- Very little actual facts are known about the Arekhorean deity Haor, but intelligence gathered by Sharon from close examinations of the Arekhorean warrior Vraay leads to a conspirancy theory that Haor is no actual deity, but just a complex technologically-based hologram, secretly created at some point by the leaders of the Arekhorean priesthood in order to suppress and control their people.
- The truth about Gloom's fight with Kherai's nemesis Vraay still remains a mystery, some claim that Gloom killed Vraay, others claim that Vraay somehow survived and now remains hidden, brooding and waiting for an opportunity to strike at Kherai again.
- Even though it was common knowledge in the Hyperion Force that Kherai was celibate because of her devotion to her religion, there was some talking in the corners about a brief flirt and maybe more between her and Emergency Break - rumors that made Alexia Dale and Outside Chance warn Kherai about her friendship with Holly, telling her that Holly was abusive and would be bad company... something which Kherai really never grasped, as she didn't understand how her friends could say such things about someone who was supposed to be their friend and ally.
Trivia
- Arekhoreans are herbivores, and Kherai gets sick if she tries to digest any kind of meat.

OOC Notes
-"Kherai" has English as her second language IRL and is prone to misspellings and grammatical errors etc. If you find some errors you wish to correct or wish to alter a flawed sentence into better English, feel free to do so. Having fewer flaws in my profile only makes me happy.
