Personality
Myriael is nothing if not patient. He has spent a lot of time hearing out the concerns and fears of young men and women in his order, and has become a very willing ear, and even a shoulder if necessary. Having heard so many words from within so many hearts has also given him the uncanny -and some might say blasphemous- ability to step outside his training and rhetoric and really -look- at what is before him. A man of true faith, he fully believes that if everything he has been taught is Truth, then there is nothing he can possibly see or feel that would threaten his faith. If looked at honestly and carefully enough, everything should make sense according to what he knows as Truth. And if it doesn't... then it might take a little longer to find what really -is- the Truth. To Myriael, though, it is important to always -look-, because faith is nothing if it cannot stand up to a challenge.
