Gui Bai Tou
From Unofficial Handbook of the Virtue Universe
I'm having so much fun playing the game, that I find myself neglecting my VV pages. The pics here don't match the current incarnation of the Ghost Rabbit. She's back to her more original look, I need to update the pics.

History
Dear Diary,
Not much happening today, just the usual classes at school. Today's classes are "Advanced Field Theory" and "Quantum Physics"….boring!
I'd rather be working in the lab, working on my prototype KineTek suit. I know, that name totally sucks, but it's the best I got for now. It's not like I plan on marketing this thing anyway, I'm just hoping that maybe it can be used by Longbow or the PPD. Still got some bugs to work out, but they'll never get fixed if I can't get some quality lab time.
And then after class, I've got piano lessons with Mrs. Bai. Man, I hope I get that sonata right this time, those chopsticks hurt! Alright, I gotta go, class will start soon. See you later.
Dear Diary,
Oh man, I've got so much to tell you. I don't know how to begin, guess I'll just start.
You know I've known Mrs. Bai for like forever now, ever since I was a little kid. She's a nice old lady, even if she is a little strict. But, I've never heard her like this before, she almost sounded scared. I didn't even know she could be scared.
Anyway, when I showed up for our lesson, she was sitting in the dark and it sounded like she was very worried. I think she might have even been crying. I asked her what was wrong.
Mrs. Bai made me sit down and she made some tea for me. I sat at the kitchen table while she went to get some teacups and as she went behind me, she suddenly placed her hands on my head. And that's when I saw it all.
If I didn't see it for myself, I wouldn't believe it. I'm not sure you will believe it, but I am telling you it really happened. It was like Mrs. Bai opened my eyes and I was watching her life story on television or something. We didn't leave the kitchen or anything, but I could see, hear and feel everything like I was actually there.
Mrs. Bai is from China, which I already knew, I just didn't know from "when" in China. She's like some kinda warrior monk priestess or something. She used to be the leader of a group called the Zodiac Guardsmen. The Guardsmen were sworn to guard the Jade Emperor and each of them took after one of the Chinese Zodiac Animals. Mrs. Bai was known as Snow Rabbit.
I know what you're thinking, I'm making this stuff up. Especially since my fave animal of all time is rabbits, but trust me…I'd be more original than this.
Anyways, she was the leader of the Guardsmen for like centuries. Eventually, she had to step down and retire. She chose to retire in the "mortal world" right here in Paragon City. She became Mrs. Bai, my piano teacher.
It turns out that after she retired, a total bitch took control of the Guardsmen. She was known as the Celestial Dragon (which should've been a big red flag, IMO). This Celestial Dragon decided to try to take the Jade Emperor's throne for herself. Half the Guardsmen were on her side, while the other half was ready to fight her.
But, before they could fight, the Lady Kuan Yin (the Jade Emperor's wife) banished all of the Guardsmen from Heaven. All of them, the good ones and the bad ones.
No wonder why Mrs. Bai was so upset. This had all happened like in the last few days. Mrs. Bai wanted to come out of retirement and help the Guardsmen find their way back to heaven. But, the thing is, she's too old. I mean, she's been old for a long time now, but now since she retired her body got old. She's not in shape to fight.
She wants me to join her in this fight…like literally. She said that she can merge the two of us. I'd still be me, but she'd be guiding me as some kind of mind or spirit thing. She said that by joining her spirit to me, we'd have special powers. Powers like the one she used to show me her life story in my mind.
OMG, she also knows about the KineTek Suit. Maybe she picked it up when she did that mind-merge thing with me. I dunno, but she knows about the suit. She also knows that it'd make a totally awesome superhero suit…and that I've already considered becoming a "cape".
I'm gonna do it, Diary. It's just too much fun to pass up and well, I could feel how Mrs. Bai…I mean, Snow's heart was broken when the Guardsmen fell. She needs me and I want to help her. I've already got some ideas for our costume. Of course, I'm gonna use the KineTek suit, but it need some finishing touches to make it more hero-like.
This is just what I needed. School has become so boring, it just doesn't feel challenging anymore. Mom and Dad are all the way in California and it's not like they even check up on me.
Snow and I have even come up with a name, Gui Bai Tou, it means "The Ghost Rabbit". I love it. Look out bad guys, here comes The Ghost Rabbit!
