Violet's story begins with her conception. Violet's mother, Clarissa Sanders was a well known Christian rock musician who was a leader in the abstinence movement. Having great success in convincing young people to wait for marriage brought her to the attention of Asmodeous. The Arch-demon. One of Lucifer's seven original fallen Archangels. Asmodeous sought to destroy Clarissa, and did so by seducing her, and impregnating her with Violet. The pregnancy ruined Clarissa's career, and shortly afterward, her life. Abandoned by the Christian rock record label that had previously worked with her, Clarissa got a new manager and tried to get into mainstream music. Her new manager however was very corrupt, and brought about Clarissa's downfall. She married this man and eventually became involved with drugs, and died of an overdose, leaving the young Violet alone with her abusive husband.
Violet's stepfather molested her, beating her if she did not comply. Violet considering running away, but her stepfather had since remarried and Violet gained a younger stepsister named Melissa. Violet made the decision to stay to protect her, hoping that her stepfather being distracted by her would keep him away from Melissa. Sadly this was not to be, as in a drunken rage he fatally beat Melissa. Violet's rage at what had been done to the girl caused her first transformation into her demonic visage. Her stepfather was the first victim of her new found hunger for the life force of living beings, and her demonic form manifested. Violet was at first frightened by this change, but she eventually came to master it.
With her mother dead and now her stepfather "mysteriously murdered" Violet was given over to various orphanages, getting expelled from more then one. She became very promiscuous, and started to seduce men as a defensive mechanism. Feeding her hunger by feeding on them just enough without harming them. Violet realized that her beauty and seductive powers gave her power over men, and with it the ability to keep them from ever hurting her. Eventually she was taken in by Father David Haden and came to live at St. Joan of Arc Catholic school and orphanage. This school run by The Templar Order was a school for children or supernatural origins, and allowed them to learn to use their powers to protect mankind.
Violet tried many times to seduce Father David, who for some reason showed no signs of being in any way affected. Eventually Violet began to fall in love with David, his refusal to sleep with her causing her to realize that he was perhaps the first man to ever really care for her. This unrequited love often proved painful, but it also gave Violet a reason to aspire to use her powers in ways that would please him, by protecting people who could not protect themselves. She researched into her demonic powers and visage and determined that she was a Succubus. A false belief that was shared by all those who researched Violet until much later. Violet used her powers to aid her fellow students and Father David in various adventures.
Violet excelled in music, and seemed to have a supernaturally beautiful voice. She had sang often with her mother as a little girl, and it was clear she had a talent not only with her voice, but with performance. Her various entries into the talent show at the school were always popular. She studied dance, and music theory and seemed to be able to perform wonderfully in any genre she applied herself in. Though she concentrated mostly on Hard Rock.
Violet was assigned the most unlikely roommate in the form of Zaliah. A very innocent fairy princess. Violet became very protective of her, as she reminded her of Melissa. The friendships she made in the school started to change Violet, as she for the first time really felt like she had a family. Another student, James Perkins was and is still one of Violet's best friends. Recently they formed a Goth-Metal band called "Violet".

The coming of Violadai, and Cupidita Regnum
The next chapter in the story of Violet, is what brought about the formation of Cupidita Regnum. Sometime in Violet's senior year, the Arch-Demon Asmodeus (also known as Asmodai), patron demon of lust took a special interest in the school. Eventually it became clear that what the demon was truly interested in, was Violet. After a ward that one of the Knights used to protect the school from Asmodeus proved harmful to Violet, it became clear that Violet was not just a mere Succubus, but was actually the spawn of the Arch-demon. The Arch-demon began to awaken Violet's true potential. And this lead to a series of conflicts.
Eventually, Violet had a vision of God asking her to punish the Inquisition. A ruthless organization of religious fanatics that had taken control of the majority of the nuclear missile facilities in the United States with the intent of destroying the planet, to cleanse it with fire. Violet, having been at one time captured and tortured by this organization readily agreed. And the Knight's Templar made her a full operative. The mission she was to undertake was to use her powers over the desires of men to turn the Inquisition on one another at the crucial moment, securing the nuclear facilities and therefore saving earth. This mission was accomplished flawlessly, and with no casualties.
In Violet's vision, it was revealed to her that she had a unique choice as to her destiny. And that she could if she so chose, destroy her father Asmodeus and take his power as her own. In vengeance for what Asmodeus had done to her mother Violet agreed to this. Lucifer gave her the name Violadai, and accepted her as the new Queen of her father's holdings in Hell. His kingdom was Cupidita. Which in the ancient language of Latin means "Lust". Violadai set about either recruiting or destroying her father's former followers, and took control over the kingdom.
Cupidita in hell is largely made up of various demons who in one way or another exploit the cardinal sin of lust. Succubi, Incubi, and other demons like them originate from this kingdom. There are counterpart kingdoms like it for the various other cardinal sins, Gluttony, Wrath etc. Violadai rules her followers from her palace. And has become rather dangerous in the court of Hell, because of her style in leadership. That is that her followers are treated extremely well, and that in many cases they truly love her. Violadai is however by no means a push over, if one of her subordinates does become defiant, she will deal with it. That is of course if her followers haven't dealt with it already. The loyalty in her kingdom is fierce. And this is to Violadai's benefit as her policies regarding how her demons will affect the world is controversial.
Violadai's first edict as Queen was that her demons would stop concentrating on adultery, and other sins that had been the staple of this kingdom, and instead to focus on bringing souls to hell of those who had fallen to lust and harmed the innocent. Child molesters and rapists became the principal targets of her wrath. So far, as this still produces a steady stream of souls to hell, Lucifer does not seem to mind. However it did raise questions among others in the court.
Moving into rock stardom
One true bastion of Violet's humanity that is still intact is her love of mortal music and performance. Together with James Perkins Violet's band has secured a recording contract, and toured at first with Motley Crue. This tour came after Violet befriended the band, when starring in the music video for a new version of their song "Looks that Kill" that had been known to the band to be a personal theme song for Violet. One of Violet's minions, a gremlin named Trik Dacie works as the keyboarder for the band. The band named "Violet" combines goth metal sounds like "Lacuna Coil", "Within Temptation" and "Nightwish" with some vintage 80's metal bands including Lita Ford, Pat Benetar, along with many other bands of that era. Violet has become somewhat of a sensation in the music world, with more bands asking her to star in their videos. Their first album went Gold, and it was titled "Night's Children".

Powers and abilities
Violet's powers first seemed identical to those of a Succubus. She was able to shape shift between a mortal and demonic form. She would only take damage from weapons forged of either cold iron, or a magical/holy nature. Wounds of other varieties would generally heal almost from the start. Although Violet could eat normal food, it was not sufficient to sustain her. She had to devour the life force of living creatures to survive. If she failed to do this for a significant amount of time she would start to become weak, and it is presumed she would eventually die. She had bat-like wings that empowered her to fly, claws, and fangs. She possessed supernatural strength that was equivalent to that of a Vampire, combined with her agility she was formidable in hand to hand combat though it was not her preference. And finally, perhaps her most formidable power was the ability to influence the minds of men or women attracted to her through her gaze and voice. She was immune or highly resistant to most drugs and diseases, and although she did breathe it did not seem that she had to.
When Asmodeous/Asmodai found her at the school, the Arch-demon began to awaken the latent potential that had always been present in Violet. Her powers of persuasion were boosted to the point that they were always active and she has to be careful how she asked people questions as she could unintentionally compel them even if she was actually seeking their approval. Her hunger grew very intense and she found herself compelled to feed more then ever. Taking away from the feeding a sensation of euphoria. Fortunately this took place during the time she was fighting the Inquisition so the danger to innocent people was minimal.
Asmodeous hoped that through the use of an ancient ritual that utilized the dagger of Jacob, (the knife that Jacob had nearly used to sacrifice his son to God in a test of faith), that Violet could become a true fallen and join Lucifer's minions in their war against God. This would of tipped the scales of power in favor of Lucifer as far as the amount of demons of Arch-Angel pedigree. The ritual called for the sacrifice of someone close to Violet. Asmodeous mis-intrpeted this to mean someone Violet loved. Eventually Asmodeous convinced Violet to come to Hell to learn what it meant to be a demon. While there he taught her much of the nature of demons. Secretly it was the hope that he might convince his daughter to be part of a blasphemous marriage between father and daughter, who's progeny would produce powerful demons. In a plan devised by Violet and the Knight's Templar, Violet deceived her father into believing she would perform the ritual the sacrifice being her lover, Eshet Lillah. When the time came for the ritual however, the plan was clear when Violet instead turned and plunged the dagger into her father's heart, followed by slitting his throat. The blood of one close to Violet was all the ritual required, and this included her father despite the fact that Violet had no love for him whatsoever. As he died she declared to him that it was in vengeance for what he had done to her mother.
From that moment, Violet's wings transformed from the bat-like wings that all second generation demons have to the black feathered wings of a fallen angel. Her power magnified by a hundred fold. She became a true fallen, and all traces of her former humanity were believed to be gone. What was unknown then and is still unknown even to Violet now, is that she had retained her soul. And therefore her free will.
Violet sought guidance from the rogue demon Labal in mastering her new found potential. Her energy storage capacity became so immense that purple energy literally pours out of her eyes when in her demonic form. Labal introduced Violet to Rachel Darkcrest, a human mage who came from a long line of powerful magi. Rachel taught Violet to utilize the energy she held not only to fuel her regeneration and powers, but to be able to use it to fuel arcane spells. Violet at first had trouble doing small things with magic as the energy inside her was so powerful that effects she conjured would be super-charged in many cases well beyond her intention. Eventually she did gain the ability to control this better, though most of Violet's magic is still raw power. Some spells that Violet has mastered have given her the power to do several things.
1. Violet has the ability to teleport objects, beings etc. to and from her home kingdom in Hell. 2. Violet can use magic to recreate several damaging effects using her energy. This usually comes in the form of a beam of concussive force, raw energy, flame, etc. 3. Violet can utilize her stored energy to heal wounds in others. 4. Violet can form barriers and shields to protect herself. 5. Violet can turn her energy internally, to enhance her bodies resilience and strength, if she does this however she loses her ability to focus her energy outside of her body, removing her ability to attack at a range. (This is the reasoning for her Super Strength/Electric Armor Brute build) Note: Although Violet discovered this ability through her work with magic, it is possible that this ability is a manifestation of some form of genetic trait. (See "Energy Metabolism" below)
New powers inherited from Asmodeous
Violet's Aura
Violet has recently discovered that an aura invisible to the naked eye exudes from her that causes sexual tension to slowly rise in the people around her. It does not directly make them attracted to her anymore then they already would be, but people will often find themselves looking for physical gratification after prolonged exposure to this aura. Violet has no control over this aura, and it is always active.
Empathy/Telepathy
Violet developed empathy and telepathy when she became a fallen, though it is mostly focused on the desires of a given individual, Violet though working with an alien friend of hers from the school, a powerful Telepathy named George, she has recently gained the ability to project her thoughts to others for telepathic communication. This requires concentration for those she is not bonded to, and is automatic for those who are bonded to her. Violet can inherently sense the deepest (and darkest) desires of those around her.
Demonic creation
Violet is still new at this aspect of her powers, but Asmodeous being the creator of the Succubi and Incubi gave Violet the power to turn mortals into these demons entirely including all of their powers, or just to grant them certain aspects. This has so far included the ability to grant demonic wings, claws, horns, etc and have a certain degree over the shape of the body of a subject.
Soul/Essence Extraction
Beings who fornicate with Violet forfeit their souls to her, if they do not possess a soul (In cases such as beings like demons, some aliens, etc.) their very essence will belong to her. This has a few side effects. The first of which is that Violet then has the power to completely reform their physical form as she sees fit. Violet generally only uses this power to cure ailments that might otherwise be incurable, but it can also be used to enhance the power or strength of a given being. The bond that is created when the soul/essence belongs to Violet also gives Violet an Empathic/Telepathic link to the subject. If one of her bonded is killed she will know instantly, and any extremely traumatic incident for either Violet or her bonded will be felt by both parties. Finally, this bond creates a powerful sense of adoration for Violet. Her bonded may still fall in love and have other relationships, but they will forever feel a powerful love for her as well. (For an example of this, you can look up the World of Darkness Vampire RPG's "Blood Bond")
Masculine Aspect
Recently Violet has discovered that she has the ability to assume a masculine form as her father was able to assume both forms. True fallen angels have no actual body, and form bodies as needed, picking a gender they prefer for any given situation. Violet habitually assumes a feminine form as it is what she is used to. However she has begun exploring her masculine aspect, known as Violadeus. Her masculine form is considerably physically stronger then her feminine form and for that reason she usually uses the internal focusing of her energy to further enhance this. When in this form Violadeus uses the energy as a kind of protective shield. This allows the demon to be somewhat of a juggernaut. Exchanging flexibility and range of abilities for raw power and fortitude.
Energy metabolism
Violet has recently realized the full potential of her energy oriented powers, being able to absorb virtually any form of raw energy in addition to magical sources. Her metabolism converts this energy into her own energy. So far this effect has been able to convert any form of raw energy no matter the source with no ill effects to Violet herself. Violet's energy manifests in the color purple. (It is speculated that this is why Violet has always had a preference for the color.) After spending some time with her recently discovered cousin Clint Sanders Violet has started to wonder if it is possible that this power might in some way be genetic, as her cousin also has amazing powers over the energy spectrum. Her time with Clint also caused her to realize that she can perceive energy, and attune her power to it. When she attempted to do this with her cousin, she was able to mimic his powers with her own energy. This is what lead to the advent of her using her energy internally.
