A cursed character is one who has been cursed or hexed in some way. The source of the character's powers can be the curse (in which case the downside is often much more terrible than the powers granted), or the curse can cause limitations to the character in some way. Either way, a curse is a horrible burden to bear, and beings that are cursed typically exist in a state of constant anguish.
