"Remember the times before your embrace when you yet walked beneath the sun’s warmth. Felt its summer heat beat upon your shoulders.
Imagine that you walk for a day that goes without end. The sun forever walks the horizon. Scalding you. Its warmth becomes oppressive as it beats upon you, turns the sand beneath your bare feet to so many countless branded daggers, white with a fires rage.
Feel a fierce dry wind whipping at every step, scouring you with grains of that sand. Endlessly stealing away from your body until your skin cracks and your muscles cramp. Imagine the feel of the sand within your throat, grating at you even as you cry out in loneliness and despair… withering your words to a feeble whisper that burns your throat like shards of glass.
Now see before you in answer to your pitiful cry, your lover appear. She dips her fingers in a glass of cold water, pure and perfect, and brushes your cheek in simple comfort. Imagine your thirst remain even as her wet fingers trace cool relief on your burned skin... know that.. and you would know the slightest fraction of it my Hunger."

Introductions
Ahhh.... you'll be the one wanting the records. No, no... sit. Please. I am, in fact, the one you are looking for and I have them with me presently. Edited slightly... for your ease of reading only, of course. You are paying enough that trimming it to the interesting bits is the least we could do.
Ah yes, forgive me if I drifted somewhat. Who I am, since you ask again, is the one who wrote the records you are after. They are my project... my task.
I am called the Fisher.
Now will you please sit, Whelp? The Kine are beginning to stare.

- Paola Flusso - Entry flagged. I can not stress enough the importance of further observation. Something vital is being missed here.
- Augusta Cairo - Entry flagged. A whelp by comparison but somehow a confidant of great importance. Perhaps far more. Observation of their conversations has proven difficult.
- Sarah Milles - Saaliha seems to have a certain respect for this woman that she affords few.
Regular Associates
- Moone - Entry flagged. Exact nature unknown. I've noted this for further observation.
- Ani Reaves - Paola's Childe seems not to be considered prey.
- Sky-Scar - It is difficult to grasp why she hasn't killed him. I suspect he amuses her.
- Kima Wolf - Another of the Assassins. Tension between them has been observed, but the cause of it hasn't been pinned down. I have been given to think it involves the Italian, Paola.
Known and Suspected Enemies
Presently it would not be a stretch to say that none surviving make their continuation apparent.
Groups
- The Children of the Night - Although the exact nature of interactions remains unknown, it has been observed that many members of this Camarilla group seem discomforted or displeased by her presence.
- The Ascension Foundation - It's been observed that there are interactions between the Assassin and members of this group.
- The Sabbat - Although no contact remains, for a period Saaliha worked under contract, perhaps even with members of this group. It was difficult to observe this period.

"Saaliha? Ah, you noticed. Oh, we're...close. Friends. Close friends. I can trust 'er, which is more than I can say about myself. ...You may desire to back away a little. She doesn't like it when others stand close to me. And trust me, Signore, you do -not- desire to upset 'er." - Paola Flusso
"She's all... ass-kicking, name-taking, awesomeness with a center of.. like... pure badass. I'm glad she's my friend and not my enemy. ...Don't tell her I said that, though. She'll probably defenestrate me. ...Wowwww, that's a long word for 'to throw out a window'." -Sky-Scar
"She's, like... really quiet. -Really- quiet. I mean, she's been there fifteen minutes before you even start to think that maybe somebody's watching you or listening to your conversation. Can't tell from her face, but... man, I bet she gets a kick out of scaring the crap out of people that way." - Ani Reaves
"That's my little crotch-sniffer. Wait, did I say that out loud? Did she hear me??" -TechPunk
"A very intriguing woman, to say the least; a specimen of beauty, grace, and mystery. She's very...different, and for that reason I am intrigued and...wary..." -Thaelius Kane
"... Second best legs on Virtue... " -Malky- OOC
"Nothing makes my day like having a beautiful assassin, a beast of a woman, a ferocious and devout predator... pounce and tickle me." -Major Weber-

I know not his purpose behind this acquisition, but it does bring some amusement to my night. It would seem the Jackal has a romantic's heart, for which he is already suffering. The night previous the Assamite had lost himself to my observation and handily too. He tucked himself into a brothel at [the city] to take his rest after loosing me amid the market's pre-dawn bustle. It would not seem like him to choose such a place and were it not for the commotion which I will shortly discuss, it may haven proven to be good for another several years during which he would elude me yet again.
A young girl, a pretty little impetuous thing full of rage saw fit to disagree with her usage at the place this evening. I know not the conditions of her life though I will find out if I am able. She seemed new to such ownership to manage such boldness as she did. She killed the caravaner who had purchased the evening with her and apparently sought the brothel owner in his bed with her cheap little blade. Ill fortune for the girl that the man in question is an Assamite Ghoul and wonderful luck for me that his survival of her attack and the subsequent argument with [Jackal] revealed such. I find it most interesting that the Jackal purchased her from her punishment with claim and threat of both violence and revelation of ---- content removed ----
The argument drew quite some attention of which I arrived to catch the last. She raged and threatened both though harming either was beyond her while the two mean yelled obscenities at one another. During the course of the conversation it was revealed that [Jackal] has associations with ----- content removed ----- allowed [Jackal] to manage his rescue when it became clear that he would suffer further should the fight continue.
This girl does not see the Jackal at all as her savior. She has yet to stop her constant attempts to make [Jackal]'s life horribly unpleasant and has succeeded so marvelously that I find myself given to fits of mirth. She is a pretty thing, so full of life. What his intent is with her I do not yet know. I will deliver this among my other reports upon reaching [the town] and will continue my observations for the archivists.

The Jackal and his little girl have disappeared in the sands again. I know not where they go exactly though I suspect it to be this place called Alamut. Ghouled to him her attitude remains, but her skills expand remarkably. [Jackal] has a strange tolerance of her needling I begin to suspect goes beyond merely grooming her.
Saddled with her his works in ---- content removed ---- though I suspect there remains importance to what he does. And perhaps to what she does under his demand. She questions him constantly, but she does not fail. Ever. I have observed her personally and noted her to most efficiently kill.
Whatever qualms my heart may feel with such actions, her own, full of such religious fervor as [Jackal] has given her, seems completely untroubled. I find her oddly appealing to watch. The Jackal is a lethal, unavoidable force, almost at times it seems, of nature. His little Ghoul, Saaliha he calls her, is liquid grace and predatory ferocity wholly different. Smoother.
With each return from the sands she changes slightly under [Jackal]'s tutelage. I will wait for them in [the city]. I suspect he will embrace her soon. She has far too much potential to limit with such mild usage.

They've left! I know not where they intend and tracking them is proving difficult with our networks so strained by this exodus. Many of the Assassins regard this demand of the Treaty of Tyre as vile and sacreligious and there has been a ---- content removed ---- and he is with them. Where the man called the Jackal goes so to does his Childe.
I will follow if I am able, but more than the Jackal ever has the girl suspects my presence. I know not how it is, but she is more alert to the presence of the Watchers than seems possible. It is laughable but I would be tempted to say that she smells us.
