SUMMARY

Project Bifrost is a special project launched by Alpha Squad to summon heroes and defenders throughout the galaxy to Earth, to protect the planet and help survive an impending apocalypse.

MISSION

Project Bifrost is the name of a top-secret project funded by Alpha Squad and the nation of Cobiness. The project’s mission was to contact alien forces throughout the Galaxy in order to help and support Earth.

The project was masterminded by Mars Five and approved by Doctor North.

Alpha Squad believes Earth is in a period of great peril and that new massive Rikti invasion is pending and that the next invasion is destined to destroy the Earth and possibly the universe entire. The theory known as the “Ragnarok Theory” is the primary reason the Cobiness nation was funded using financial and scientific resources provided to Doctor North by the Xtiplik race (the race of people that cloned Mars Five).

The project involved emitting Quantum Beacons from a Cobiness satellite called Polaris 1. In fact, these beacons were the primary purpose of the mysterious satellite launched in the spring of 2009.

RESULTS

The results of Project Bifrost were dramatic and impressive, so much so that a new satellite dubbed “Gjallar” is rumored to be in development for a second phase of Project Bifrost.

A number of powerful aliens and heroes were summoned to Earth by Project Bifrost:

  • Pi Tau – A powerful biological entity coalesced from “Dark Matter” and was immediately dispatched to lead a new sub-group of Alpha Squad dubbed “The Occult” a team that researches “white magic”, and the fusion of arcane power with advanced science.

  • Rock3b.jpg
Rockk – A unique organism from Dimension 109 was discovered at the outer-rim of the Milky Way and brought to Earth. Rockk was assigned to a new sub-group of Alpha Squad called “Evergreens”, a group focused on the ecological preservation of Earth.

  • General Bloodrain – Bloodrain came into existence during an accident when the Quantum Beacon was first being deployed. She has been assigned into a leadership position of a new sub-group of Alpha Squad called “Evergreens” a group focused on the ecological preservation of Earth.

  • Astro Nova – Astro Nova came into existence when the corpse of Pi Tau that Project Bifrost summoned to Earth was discovered in the 24th century. Later Astro Nova is brought back to the 21st century and becomes trapped in a time paradox. After being trapped Astro Nova serves Pi Tau directly and under his advice agrees to join “Evergreens” - a new Alpha Squad subgroup focused on the ecological preservation of Earth.

  • Arrowstride - An Elven General, who's one of the last of her kind. She is awfully quiet, and follows the ways of her religion and Arcane Studies. Arrowstride was summoned to Earth, but had landed in Atlas Park. When found, and brought back to Alpha Squad's base, she was assigned into a leadership position in "The Occult" (a special subgroup of Alpha Squad). Arrowstride struggles to speak any human language, she speaks a military form of her native language.

  • Nebula1.jpg
Nebula Man - In the late stages of Project Bifrost a dead body is found at the center of the Orion Nebula. It is transported back to Earth by the Polaris Satellite and then resurrected via radical bio-shock therapy. The "undead" creature that arises after the surgery is then dubbed Nebula Man. The creature has no idea of who or what it was before its death, and is powered by a arcane crystal of topaz. He is currently performing low-level crime fighting in Steel Canyon.

Project Bifrost is still underway and the full list of aliens brought to Earth via this project is still not complete.
