Character Background
In Chad's own words:
"Whoa! I came home two months ago, a little drunk, after an all night frat party. Man, was I starving! The only thing in the refrigerator was this moldy looking pork chop. But I was so hungry and a little tipsy that I didn't care! Dude, how the hell was I suppose to know my retard of a roomate left that pork chop in the refrigerator to keep his bio-chemistry experiment cooled?!! After an explosive night of gas, I woke up with these freakin' spines coming out of my body! Holy crap! My mom is so gonna kill me!"
Noting his awkwardness with his new powers, yet willing to mentor young Chad and nurture his amazing potential to be the most powerful hero the world has ever seen, he was personally recruited by ElementalMaster and "The Six Pillars of Justice". In addition, he's been known to lend his considerable talents to the The People's Vanguard when needed going by the name "Pokechop".

A rapid-response team comprised of the world's most powerful and diverse heroes containing a Defender, a Blaster, a Tanker, a Scrapper, a Controller, and a Kheldian. Individually, few are their equal, but collectively they are a force that is nigh unstoppable. Dedicated to stopping the enemy by using more "persuasive" means then Statesman and the Freedom Phalanx would publicly sanction, together, these six superheroes are capable of handling almost any threat conceived. Their motto: Whether villains are brought to justice or justice is villains, make no mistake — justice will be served!.
While the youngest member of the team, Pokechop can completely devastate large groups of villains with ease and in short order. His area of effect abilities are without peer. A perpetual prankster, he brings much needed humor to counter-balance the grim nature of some of his teammates.

Inspiration, Notes and Trivia
- This character name falls under the category "You know you've been playing too much CoH when..." Someone from the South mentioned they were eating a "porkchop". To these ears, it sounded just like "poke chop" and immediately I thought of a spines scrapper who ate a bad piece of meat. Yes, I need help.
- This character was created in Issue 3 of City of Heroes
- This was my fourth character that made it level 50
- Hours to level: approximately 280 sometime back in Issue 5.
