Alien
Power-Lad is of an unknown alien race. He has been living on earth for hundreds, possibly thousands of years. His home world is at war, and his faction, the peace living side, sent scouts to the universe for purposes of scouting new worlds. His side feeling that the deterioration of his world would force them to move some place else.
Hibernation
PL has been able to exist here for so long, because of the hibernation state that his species enters. Living until the earthen age of 40, his race enters a hibernation state for 80 years. In the process they de-age to infants and begin life anew. Most times they come out with full knowledge of their past lives, but PL had a malfunction with his stasis pod and as a result remembers nothing.
Beginnings
Early life
Noah was found in a field alone, no sign of life or where he came from around him. Given to the state of R.I. child welfare commission, he was placed into the Drake orphanage in the King's Row part of Paragon City. Growing up he found it hard to even interest prospective couples, never mind get serious consideration. As a result he dove into his school work, getting excellent grades. It was not until the age of 10, when invited on the local playground to join a game of basketball, that his interest in sports arose.
Noah began to excel past the other kids. Soccer, baseball, basketball...but his love was for football. He became the star athlete at every sport he played, turning that into a possible college scholarship in high school as the star quarterback. Still living out of the orphanage, he took the orphanage name as his surname. An accident would help him to came across his powers by accident...
Life Altering
On his way home from school one day, he came across a terrible car accident. A tractor trailer, jack knifed on it's side just hovered over a car with a woman and her two children inside. Moving quickly, he saved both children, but as the tractor's weight began to push it down he saw the woman's life in peril. What happened next was a blur, but he found himself holding the truck and trailer up. A costumed hero was soon on the scene and helped the woman to safety. After sitting on the sidewalk trying to comprehend what had just taken place, the un-named hero spoke to him. Offering him guidance, saying that he should use his abilities for good and to seek out the All-Star Teen Sentinels, noting that they were a group that was proficient in helping young heroes develop.
Nightmares
Soon after Noah began having nightmares, or vivid dreams. He saw a different world, and a giant war going on, covering across the entire terrain. He saw himself in this war, in full uniform and it seemed unusually real to him. The first time was odd, but he did not think too much of them...until they became frequent. He found himself waking up on a nightly basis from these dreams, the idea that perhaps this was part of where his powers came from.
All of this combined made him realize, that perhaps fate had put him here for a reason. Perhaps it was fate that he had no family, because then he would not need to worry about their safety in his secret life. Designing a costume and choosing the name Power-Lad from a list of many, he hit the streets of Paragon City.
All Star Teen Sentinels
Making his way to the super group sign ups on the computers at Paragon University, he filled out an application for entry into the All Star Teen Sentinels. E-mailed back very quickly by one, Schattenmaus, he found himself becoming eager to join. Getting very little sleep the following night, he was shocked to hear from Kid-Olympus himself the next day. A meeting took place with the two of them, and one Zeiban, another officer of the group. After a brief interview, he was accepted in the group and proudly took his comm-link. Currently he is still serving the team, meeting a few of the members to this point, Wakan Man, Magical-Girl and Omega Lass.
Cimerora
Recent events in the lost area known as Cimerora seem to have triggered a new feeling within Noah. A battle with the nictus infested Romulus has left Noah feeling a bit empty, almost like a void within. Also with this his eyes have started feeling burning sensation.

Forbidden Love?
Noah found himself attracted to a young half succubus by the name of Psylencia. Normally reserved and shy, he worked up the courage to finally speak to her. What started out as an overt declaration of his appreciation for her beauty soon turned to flirting. Being of an alien race, her abilities to seduce men have no barring on him, proving that his feelings are quite real. He has given into the feelings for her that he has, professing his love to her. The two had a brief romance, but she soon feel into the arms of another before vanishing all together. Though they are no longer romantically linked, he still holds a place in his heart for her.
Friends
Noah has recently met a woman by the name of Aithne MacKinzie. What started as a chance encounter turned into a deep friendship. The woman took Noah on some missions, and at often times has taken a motherly approach with him. He cares deeply for her, and ultimately would do anything for her.
He also has met a young woman by the name of Cassie Jones. They met early in Noah's crime fighting career, teaming together on some missions for Paragon PD. He bumped into her again one night in the D, saying hi to her as he remembered her. She though had no recollection of the meeting, and though she found it odd that a stranger would say hi as such, she started a friendship with him. Often times Noah is protective of Cass, usually becoming upset when he hears men in the D commenting about Cassie and her 'assets'. All in all she is another of the people closest to him, and he would do anything for.

On his home world, the gravity is well over 100 times our own. In our atmosphere, with much lower gravity, it gives him the powers that he has. To this point the exact extent of his abilities are unknown as he is still developing and learning about them.
Super Strength
While the exact magnitude of PL's strength is unknown, it is generally accepted that his strength is at least sufficient enough to lift 100 tons, but how much more is not known exactly. Power-Lad has also shown the ability to become even stronger when "supercharged". Noah can now easily lift vehicles,bend metals and lift heavy objects above his head .
Unlimited Pain Threshold
Power-Lad has the ability to not allow pain to effect him. Most of the times brushing off even the mightiest of blows. Some speculate that is in fact invulnerability, however in at least one instance he has been shown to bleed.
Super Human Regeneration
His alien physiology gives him the ability to regenerate his body at a much faster rate than humans. Wounds heal quickly, as well he does not get sick like normal people either.
Super Human Stamina
Power-Lad has the ability to maintain continuous strenuous physical action for an undefined period. However his base physical structure still does need to process food and water as well as has the psychological need to eat and drink just as Earth humans do, despite his alien physiology. He does require sleep on occasion as well, though he makes it a habit to rest every night that he can. He can also hold his breath for an undefined duration.

Which allows him to maneuver precisely in any direction, as well as hover. It is believed that it is not actual flight, but it is the lower gravity of our planet that allows this. Much like our astronauts float in zero-G, he is able to do the same in our atmosphere, just with far greater control.

Noah is a quite person, most of the time preferring to keep to himself. As a meta he felt a little out of place in the world, until he met other meta-humans. Now with his growing feeling of being an other worldly being, he again feels out of place. As such it has caused him to become introverted. He would not think twice about helping a friend and a teammate. He also shows great respect towards others, especially those older and those of higher rank.

Soon after Noah began having nightmares, or vivid dreams. He saw a different world, and a giant war going on, covering across the entire terrain. He saw himself in this war, in full uniform and it seemed unusually real to him. The first time was odd, but he did not think too much of them...until they became frequent. He found himself waking up on a nightly basis from these dreams, the idea that perhaps this was part of where his powers came from.
All of this combined made him realize, that perhaps fate had put him here for a reason. Perhaps it was fate that he had no family, because then he would not need to worry about their safety in his secret life. Designing a costume and choosing the name Power-Lad from a list of many, he hit the streets of Paragon City.
All Star Teen Sentinels
Making his way to the super group sign ups on the computers at Paragon University, he filled out an application for entry into the All Star Teen Sentinels. E-mailed back very quickly by one, Schattenmaus, he found himself becoming eager to join. Getting very little sleep the following night, he was shocked to hear from Kid-Olympus himself the next day. A meeting took place with the two of them, and one Zeiban, another officer of the group. After a brief interview, he was accepted in the group and proudly took his comm-link. Currently he is still serving the team, meeting a few of the members to this point, Wakan Man, Magical-Girl and Omega Lass.

Recent events in the lost area known as Cimerora seem to have triggered a new feeling within Noah. A battle with the nictus infested Romulus has left Noah feeling a bit empty, almost like a void within. Also with this his eyes have started feeling burning sensation.

The two had a brief romance, but she soon feel into the arms of another before vanishing all together. Though they are no longer romantically linked, he still holds a place in his heart for her.

He bumped into her again one night in the D, saying hi to her as he remembered her.
