Character History
A former police detective in my native England, I quickly came to learn that the law and justice are not always the same thing. When I discovered that a shadowy crime lord known as the Shadow Monarch was secretly pulling all the strings in my city, I stepped away from the badge and, instead, started fighting back from behind a mask as the Ruby Raptor. After a rather one-sided battle with the Monarch, I was defeated and unmasked right in front of my outraged father and brothers. I was then offered a deal I quite literally could not refuse: "Leave England and never return. If you do, all the people you love are dead."
After traveling the world for the better part of ten years, training myself in the art of combat while pursuing vigilante justice in various places all over Europe and Asia, I moved to the United States. There I learned of Paragon City, Rhode Island, where costumed heroes are employed by the government to fight crime. I quickly moved there and registered for my hero's license. The raptor is a bird of prey, and Paragon's criminals are *my* prey. Still, eventually, I will find a way to return to England... My original prey is still out there...
