A polyamorous person is one who espouses the lifestyle of polyamory. Polyamory is a hybrid word from the Greek "poly" (meaning "many") and the Latin "amor" (meaning "love"). Polyamory is generally defined as being the practice, state or ability of having more than one romanting loving relationship at a time, with the full knowledge and consent of all partners involved.
