Background:
- Born January 19th, 1974. He is the oldest of four children.
- Graduates from high school in 1992. Moves out to live on his own.
- Goes to college in New York to work on an Art degree. Soon becomes a professional bodybuilder while attending college and does this for several years.
- Graduates from college in 1997 and gets a job as a comic book artist, working on his own series titled: "Enemy Within." He does fairly well and does this for several years while continuing to compete in bodybuilder competitions.
Becoming a Titan:
Gabriel Reldin. He’s done fairly well in his life. He’s a professional bodybuilder and artist. He’s worked on many comic books, even creating his own series titled “Enemy Within.” A normal life or what seems to be normal. However, he wasn’t satisfied. He was bored and needed something more meaning to happen. That’s when he met Kutael, a mysterious man dressed in black. Kutael knew what Gabriel wanted and needed in his life. Gabriel was offered amazing power and strength…in exchange for his soul and eternal servitude. At first, Gabriel wasn’t sure about the offer and decided he would think it over, knowing full well what these sort of deals eventually turn out to be. Kutael gave Gabe the time he needed, but made sure to let Gabe know he only has so many years to think it over… It took days, weeks, even months before Gabe was finally fed up with over thinking the offer.
“Thinking gets you nowhere” is the conclusion he came up with and he went searching for Kutael, returning to the very place they met the first time. Kutael was waiting for him, as if he knew exactly when Gabe would show up again. Gabe hesitated until finally telling Kutael he accepts the offer. After hearing that, Kutael threw a gold colored chain at Gabe, making it enter into his body and extracted his very soul. Immediately after, Kutael sent the chain at Gabe a second time, this time though the chain wrapped itself around Gabe’s right arm as a reminder of whom he belonged to and acts as the source of power. Gabe could feel the power surge through his body. His muscles were tense and began to become larger as well as his body, but he didn’t get to enjoy the transformation long. His body was in shock after the quick removal of his soul and within minutes after the extraction, he passed out. He would become known as the Soulless Titan.
Powers and Abilities:
Gabriel is one mean powerhouse. He’s able to deal an incredible amount of damage and able to take just as much. He’s not afraid to take oncoming attacks since most of what is thrown at him hardly hurts him at all.

As a bodybuilder, Gabe worked hard on making sure he was fairly strong. As the Soulless Titan however, he’s making sure he isn’t just seen as strong, but seen as being an unstoppable force. Gabe would rather tackle his problems through force than with words. His new found power has made him extremely cocky, especially considering the man is capable of lifting well over 275 tons. He has yet to fully test out his power, since most of what he’s face was nothing more than a simple obstacle.
Invulnerability:
Like most other super strength people, Gabe has an immense resistance to physical attacks. Not only can he withstand physical attacks, but he’s also capable of withstanding various elemental attacks. Though, he looks human, Gabe’s skin is as thick as impervium. Not only is he protected by the impervium strength skin, but the sheer muscle mass of his body adds even more protection against any incoming attacks against him.
Weaknesses:
Gabe is indeed a powerhouse, but he has his own share of weaknesses and limits. For one, Gabe has an incredible weakness against any form of attack that is magical based. If a weapon is magic enchanted, the person wielding it will be capable of hurting the Titan. In addition, Gabe has a weakness to any form of mental attack, making it quite easy to mess with the man’s mind.
Current and Past Events:
Since arriving in Paragon City, Gabe has joined up with a number of groups and somehow managed to get himself involved in many events.
The Villains of Paragon City – August 2008:
Gabe wasn’t a hero. He wasn’t a villain either. What he was though, was a person who was in between. Morally gray. That’s when he heard about the VoPC. Gabe was recruited by John Starkweather, otherwise known as Arbiter Death who led the group for Arachnos. Gabe quickly shown he was a loyal subject, doing what he was asked and made sure the Arbiter’s orders were completed. He quickly rose to becoming one of the people Starkweather had trusted.
People became afraid of the Soulless Titan. They knew Starkweather meant business if Gabe were involved in something. However…that would change. The Arbiter’s orders were beginning to make less sense and become more mindless. Gabe slowly began to realize that Starkweather was a fool. Gabe had reached a breaking point when he was ordered to attack a child…for the second time. This was the last straw. When he and several others were sent to carry out this order, Gabe turned on the VoPC and protected young Sierra Niteweather, thus being branded as a traitor to the VoPC and resulting in him leaving the group.
The Hidden Hand –August/September 2008:
A week after leaving the VoPC, Gabe joined the opposing team; The Hidden Hand. He took it upon himself to become Sierra’s guardian since it seemed she was in need of one. It didn’t take long for his past enemies to accept him as a friend and ally to the group. He helps Jag Blade and Lady Luna Moonchild against the VoPC along with a few other allied groups.
The Demon Within – September 2008:
Every person has their own personal demons. People are scared of snakes, while others may be afraid of water. Well…things were different for Gabe. Gabe had been collecting souls for Kutael, after all it was part of the deal for his powers. What he didn’t know though…was that the souls he was collecting were being fed upon by a sleeping demon inside of him. Eventually, it awoke, consuming Gabe and taking over. He called himself Zeweig. He became a monster, going after and killing anything that got in his way…or so you would think. The new born demon was indeed still a new born and Gabe was able to keep Zeweig from doing anything too horrible. Or was he?
Zeweig grew stronger each day and eventually went on a rampage through Atlas Park. He destroyed anything in his path and even was able to turn himself into a more massive beast, becoming as large as the buildings in the city. Several people tried to stop Zeweig from doing too much damage, but it was too much for them. They gave up and fell back, but eventually Zeweig lost control and Gabe was able to return himself to normal. He sought out help, little Sierra managing to find an exorcist to help with this problem. She (the exorcist) was able to perform an incantation around Gabe, and removed the demon, casting him back into Hell where he belonged.
An Elaborate Plot – October 2008:
Arbiter Slade, a formidable foe and former ally, he deceived not only Gabriel, but many of his allies as well. He created a virus that would be used to manipulate people to follow his bidding. Slade infected and created a deadly creature that he would send out against his allies, the first target being the Soulless Titan. There was no way of killing this creature. Every time Gabe smashed the being into bits, it would quickly regenerate back into one piece. He was able to wear it down though, every time he caused it to regenerate back to full, it would regenerate slower. Eventually he was able to put it down, but he got too cocky. It sprung back to life and managed to bite Gabe, ripping through his impervium like skin and flesh with amazing force…and spread the virus into the Titan.
He was now like the creature; a mindless zombie that only exists to spread the virus. His own allies feared him. He was an even more unstoppable force. Gabe attacked a close ally and passed on the virus. What wasn’t known though, was that this was all part of Slade’s plan. The person Gabe had infected had a regenerative ability that allowed the virus to bond to him without affecting him too much. Gabe was cured of the virus soon after and helped in defeating Slade and preventing the virus from being spread to the general public.
The Notorious and Valiant Six – October/November 2008:
After hearing his sister Melissa Reldin was involved with Rezz, whom was currently in the group The Notorious Six, he became worried and joined the Valiant Six in order to keep an eye on her but also the Notorious Six. After a few run ins with the Notorious Six, Gabe began to realize that his sister was in good hands and he didn’t need to worry. However, he also began to realize that he couldn’t put trust in any of the other leaders of the Valiant Six and resulted in him leaving the group.
Inactive Duty – December 2008 to April 2009:
Gabe somewhat disappeared after the events of the NS and VS. He needed some time to himself, but also to just feel like a “normal” citizen again. He took a break from being involved in anybody’s business, sometimes showing up once in awhile in Pocket D to visit with other people. Gabe also decided that it was the perfect time for him to take a look around the Rouge Isles. He eventually meets with Labal and joins his group the Abyss Empire. However, that doesn’t last long when Gabe heard of Labal’s plans to destroy the Earth and helps several others, thus being branded as a traitor to the Abyss.
Return – May 2009:
After his long absence around both Paragon and the Isles, Gabe decided it was time to come back from his long break. Immediately after getting back into action, Gabe was approached by Alexander Zegai, offering Gabe a position within his organization. It was called A.N.N.E.X.; short for Allied Neogenetics, Nucleic Engineering, and Xenobiology. Gabe was offered a chance to change the world in creating a paradise where meta- humans wouldn’t have to be ashamed of whom they were. It would be a world where the meta-humans took over…to be just like Praetoria. However, Gabe didn’t join the group for the sole purpose of changing the world, he joined to help himself. Zegai is creating various serums that would change people forever. If these were perfected, Gabe would use them to gain his powers through the serum and hopefully be able to regain his soul.

Powers and Abilities continued:
As time went by, Gabe learned and gained some new powers and abilities from friends and other sources.
Soul Mastery:
Gabriel learned to master being able to project dark energy through the use of the souls he collects. He is able to use the dark energy to cause people to become temporarily blind, feared and even confused.
Fire Control:
Gabe had only known Vicisstudo for a few weeks, but he quickly became to be one of Gabe’s dearest friends. After a few strange events, learning his friend’s true name was Gilrama and was sharing a body with his son, and the passing of his dear friend, Gabe was passed on the ability to manipulate fire. He was also was given the ability to transform himself into a dragon.
Becoming the Soul Evoker:
Gabe was curious to look through his old friend’s magic spell book. He was able to come across a spell that would allow himself to change the way he used his abilities. The spell had reverted his physical form to how he was before he gained his superior strength, but is now able to use more powerful magic and even new abilities he never had before.

Thug Mastery:
Gabe is able to call forth souls from within his body and use them to become his servants. He chooses to turn the souls’ physical form into the very thugs and gang members he took the souls from as punishment for what they have done.
Dark Miasma:
Gabe is able to use a far powerful form of dark energy. He is able to tap more of the energy and use the souls he collects to empower his abilities.
Strengths and Weaknesses:
As the Soul Evoker, Gabe’s strengths and weaknesses have shifted. When in this form, he is no longer resistant against physical attacks and is no longer with his superior strength. However, in exchange for losing his strength and resistant, he gains the ability to use powerful and a wide range of magical spells. Also in this form, Gabe gains the ability to resist both magical and mental attacks greatly.

Facts and Trivia:
- The chain on his arm isn't just for looks. It's his source of power and keeps him bound to his soul. It also keeps him from being killed forever, making him somewhat immortal.
- The chain is also unbreakable by anyone else. Only himself and the one he made the pact with, Kutael, can break it.
- Technically still has his soul. The chain keeps him bound to his soul that is held by Kutael. It is the reason why he is still able to feel emotions.
- When he introduces himself, he only says his first name and never his last.
- Secretly hides his true emotions. He laughs, smiles and shows other signs of joy, but it is difficult to tell when the man is truly faking it.
