Necromancers are characters who work magic specifically relating to death and/or the afterlife. Typical powers for necromancers include the ability to create undead such as zombies or ghosts, causing fear and terror, and manipulating cold and darkness. Of course, these are only a few common examples - like all spellcasters, there are many interpretations of this character type.
