Many heroes and villains are named after their deed or certain characteristic about themselves. Cascade, however, was neither. He -is- Cascade, a living conduit with all sorts of terrors, nightmare, even the hellfire abyss spewing out of him whose only goal is to transform everything, every planet, every universe, every dimension, into an image of himself, a shadow. In doing so, he believes he'll set off a chain of reaction and causing a catalyst that will allow him absorb untold powers from the heavens and beyond and recreate everything to his desire. Once a great and powerful hero in his dimension, now exiled and banished into the netherworld, Cascade seeks a place of belonging, a place of acceptance, a place to finally rest in peace.
Early History
There's not much to reveal, only what is found through rumors and myths. Much of the history of Cascade's past has been destroyed as the dimension Cascade is from no longer exist. Legends spoke that Cascade's dimension is very similar to Primal Earth in many ways up until World War II, the only real difference is that war never ended. There weren't any heroes or villains of superpower levels, just Allies and Axis. Until one day after 47 years since the war started, unspeakable horror started filling the streets across the globe. It was rumored that the war wasn't suppose to last that long, that a superpower was prolonging the war for as long as it can to shed enough blood and hatred to open a gate to the abyss itself, this marked the end of World War II and the beginning of the Eclipse War. While humanity stood divided among Allies and Axis, they could no longer fight each other nor could they help each other as they were locked in conflict against the Hellfire Abyss itself, alliances soon dissolved and humanity on the brink of extinction, superpower beings becoming legends into myths, the world forever in darkness. Until one day, 25 years later, a ordinary man with an unspeakable resolve began rallying the men, uniting humanity, reigniting the resistance, and drove back the demons back into the Abyss and marking the turning point of hope till the end of the great war.
The world prospered once again, rebuilding, inventing, advancing and slowly catching up to the golden age it was originally designed to at decades ago. The man, now called Cascade for bringing life back into the world, was crowned Emperor by the people and remained in power for thousands thousands of years to come, spreading his kingdom deep into the galaxy. It was rumored that he was blessed by the god with life as a reward; however, the truth became far from it when one day when many black sphere began forming across the universe and demons started spewing out, throwing humanity into chaos once again while the Emperor locked himself away from the world. The legends spoke that the Emperor never banished the Abyss, that it couldn't be destroyed, so he sacrificed his soul and took the power to himself hoping to keep it contained for all eternity. The black sphere was a manifestation of his own powers as the gates were destroyed, the demons found other means to get through. As the Emperor fought his internal battle against his awakening, the began people losing faith and began creating rituals to exile him into the Abyss, hoping to banish the demons forever. But what the people didn't know is the Emperor was the conduit of all life, the power he had within him was not just the Abyss but Heavens as well, a double-edge sword. The emperor knew this, he began waging war against those performing the rituals, condemning them as heretics, marking the beginning of the great third and final war, The Black Dawn. The Emperor slowly going mad as he embraces his power on a whole new level in a desperation to stop the rituals from being formed but failed. And with it, all life cease to exist.
