Once he was a leader on The Frontline.

Once he was a Havok Brother.

So what is he now?

Red-Havok is a man determined to fight against injustice as he sees it, and overcome those who wish harm on others - by any means necessary. After The Frontline's disbandment, The Havok Brothers undertook a top secret suicide mission from Portal Corp. There was a slim chance of success, but it was not guaranteed. Two years later, the portal opened and Red emerged - alone. With his brother presumed dead, Red-Havok no longer had his close ally to rely on. But fate saw fit to provide Havok with new allies: a group of heroes who together, Challenge the impossible!

Legacy History

Once proud soldiers, the Havok brothers were taken and experimented on by a sinister organization. Genetic experiments were preformed with the final outcome being what you see today: super-human killing machines. They were used by their captors as unwilling weapons until one day something went wrong. The brothers broke free of their mental chains and made their way to Paragon leaving behind a trail of bodies. Becoming heroes of the city and later forming 'The Frontline', every day is now spent trying to make up for the past, and fighting hard to protect the future... (Click for complete details)

Brave New World
Paragon City had not seen or heard from The Havok Brothers in two years. That is because they undertook a special assignment tasked to them by The Portal Corporation. The assignment took them to a strange dimension and there they battled against Blindside and Eradis, two failed MCORP experiments.
Rhprof1.jpg

The mission was a success in that they had accomplished their job, but it was not without heavy cost. Two years after the mission began, Red emerged from a Portal in Peregrine Island. He was alone. His brother seemingly dead, lost in the cosmic waves of Portal energy.

Red's life was not the same. He took time off to be alone and did not engage in any sort of crime fighting or his usual activities. A call from his old friend Foxy Ferret encouraged him to suit up once more. Upon meeting with Foxy, Red was given a stern lecture and told he needed to get his head back in the game. He knew she was right.

When Foxy and Red parted ways Red intercepted a PPD Alert, and left for Talos Island. In Talos Red squared off with the super criminals Ripjaw and Gatoroid. Red was defeated easily by the gargantuan pair as he was still relying on duo battle maneuvers.

Red faced death a second time, but was rescued by his former ally The Nitedevil and a man called Armaments, member of Orthrus Inc. The two heroes extracted Red and brought him to their headquarters - The Shadow House.

The Infiltrator Initiative

While in the custody of Orthrus Inc. Red came face to face with its leader, the mysterious and elusive Mr. Shade. Shade made Red an offer to join his organization as part of the new Infiltrator Initiative.

Red considered his options carefully. He eventually accepted based on two factors. The first being that his old and trusted friend The Nitedevil was part of the group. Red felt that if Nitedevil stood with Mr. Shade, there must be a good reason. So he too would stand as an Infiltrator.

The second factor was a hefty promise made by Shade. Now that Red was no longer part of a duo it was as if he had lost an extension of himself. Shade promised Red that he would make it possible for him to once again be a deadly force. With his new powers fully untapped and a new, black uniform, Red-Havok accepted his position as tactical field leader of The Infiltrators.

The ERA of Challenge

Rhprof2.jpg
Over time, Shade's dark intentions became known to The Infiltrators. After being sent to Guatemala to destroy The Mass Eradicator, Havok killed super villain Cyborg Sinister. This action fractured the group and everyone went their separate ways. Individually, the former Infiltrators worked to uncover the truth about Orthrus Inc. and The Blacklist, and soon found that it was not Havok who killed Sinister, but Shade, who had manipulated Havok's genetics in order to use him as a living weapon.

The Infiltrators were then rounded up by Longbow Agent Slate who wanted to use the group as his personal task force. Among The Infiltrators were heroes Xanatos, Luficia and Gadgix. They "infiltrated" a criminal fighting tournament held by Warrior Queen, Athena. She was working in conjunction with Phanto - who had quickly become Havok's arch nemesis. During the tournament, Shade again attempted control of Havok's will, causing him to harm Rave Spider with fatal intent.

After the tournament, the heroes finally learned the truth about Shade. They returned to The Shadow House, The Infiltrators' former HQ, to confront Mr. Shade. Shade tried to manipulate, as all expected - but was not successful. The group was ejected from The Shadow House, and set off to find out the secrets of The Blacklist and Orthrus Inc. on their own.

After discovering the truth that Shade had been manipulating the destinies of each member for the past several years, the former Infiltrators, and their new allies vowed to challenge threats like Phanto and Shade on their own terms.

Paragon’s Mightiest Heroes

Everything had led to this. From the very moment Cade and his brother were captured by MCORP, this had been his destiny. The Defenders of Paragon, The Frontline, The Infiltrators… all of those experiences had culminated to this very moment.

Soon, all eyes were on Havok, and for good reason. He had personally gathered a group that was without question, composed of Earth’s greatest heroes. They now stood together, united in cause as The Challengers. (Continued here...)

Symb.png Personality
Red-Havok is a commander and a leader. He has taken the role of being an inspiration to others, although not willingly - he has accepted it. He is passionate to a fault when it comes to his sense of justice, and in the past believed strongly that villains should not get a second chance. However his mind on the matter has changed recently after working with more than one reformed criminal. Still, there is part of him that has trouble letting go of the past when it comes to villains. While he has made exceptions, there are some who are not so easily forgiven. Havok is always “on duty”. He very rarely takes any personal time and when he does, has a hard time adjusting and finding things to keep him busy. He has been warned by several teammates not to let his work consume him, but it’s not something he feels he can change.

Symb.png Powers
As a result of The Chaos Fusion Experiment, Cade's abilities and senses, amazing in their own right, were increased nearly ten-fold, causing him to become a super soldier in every way. MCORP classified this as super-enhanced natural abilities.

    Rhdna6.png Enhanced Strength:
Havok's physical strength is enhanced far above the normal human potential. He is able to press in excess of 2 tons.
    Rhdna3.png Enhanced Speed:
Havok can run at a top speed of approximately 50 kilometers per hour. While not nearly as fast as Johnny Turbo, Havok is speedy in his own right.
    Rhdna8.png Enhanced Agility:
Havok's agility is enhanced to levels beyond the natural physical limits of even the best Olympic athletes, leap higher and longer than any normal human.
    Rhdna7.png Enhanced Reflexes:
The speed at which Havok reacts is perhaps his greatest advantage. He can usually out-react even the fastest humans, no matter how well-trained they may be.
    Rhdna2.png Enhanced Stamina:
Havok's enhanced physiology eliminates the excessive build-up of fatigue-producing poisons in his muscles, granting him superhuman levels of stamina in all physical activities. He is able to physically exert himself at peak capacity for several hours before fatigue toxins begin to impair him.
    Rhdna5.png Enhanced Durability:
Havok's body is physically much more resistant to injury than the body of a normal human. He can withstand great impacts, such as falling from a height of several stories or being struck by an opponent with super strength, that would severely injure or kill a normal human.
    Rhdna4.png Enhanced Healing:
Havok can heal broken bones and torn muscles in around twenty four to forty eight hours, while bullet and knife wounds would heal in a matter of hours.
    Rhdna1.png Alcohol Immunity:
Havok is completely immune to alcohol intoxication effects. This is something he has never shared with his teammates.

ABILITIES
    Rhgunicon.png Combat and Weapon Specialist:
During and after his time with MCORP, Cade was instilled with knowledge of multiple ways of combat. When he was used by MCORP, combat techniques were uploaded and installed into his brain. These combat methods were soon put into practice. As a result, Red-Havok is a master at unarmed and armed combat alike.
    Rhtacicon.png Tactician and Strategist:
While working for MCORP, Cade and his brother were leaders of an elite squad of assassins. He learned the basics of combat tactics. After a time, his advanced mind was able to create and store near limitless combat maneuvers which can be altered to fit any situation.

EQUIPMENT
Roof topping by toviorogers.jpg
    Rhsuiticon.pngBattle Suit:
The Havok costume is made up of a form fitting titanium based alloy. The material is both light-weight and comfortable. It provides a wide range of movement, and does not impede any type of body motion. It was first developed and used by the MCORP organization, and has since been modified by Cade himself.
    Rhvisoricon.pngVisor:
The visor on Red's eyes is actually an advanced computer which is linked to "MORGAN", The Challengers AI network, giving him access to maps, building schematics, and enemy data as well as the profiles of all known heroes registered within the Paragon City database.
    Rhclawicon.pngRazor-Scythe Attachment:
Red-Havok uses a high tech prototype weapon developed by the MCORP using stolen technology. The plans were stolen from Crey Industries, and were planned to be equipped on all MCORP operatives. Instead, Red took them with him. Upon joining the Defenders of Paragon, the Razor-Scythe was abandoned for the Ion-Blade, which was a non lethal weapon. The Ion-Blades were used for the entirety of his career with The Frontline, as well as the mission with Portal Corp. The razors were recently abandoned in favor of a less lethal, defensive weapon.
    Rhshieldicon.pngEnergy Shield:
Havok’s shield was designed by brilliant technopath Gidget Addams, aka, Gadgix. While the shield could have been made by a variety of weapons manufacturers, Red knew there was no one he wanted to design it aside from Gidge. The shield is made of a photonic energy matrix that is projected from a sophisticated, gauntlet mounted collapsible disc. The matrix itself is composed of thousands of miniature photon particles, of which the intensity can be adjusted. When Havok anticipates a large impact, he can increase the number of particles, at will, allowing him to take on ungodly amounts of punishment.

Symb.png Allies
Challengers-logo4.png
  • Aglow: Havok also met Lilah through mutual friends. Though he hasn’t had too much personal interaction with the colorful hero, he does owe her his life. During a forward assault against Lord Recluse himself, it was Aglow who saved Havok from a deadly strike that may have cost him his life. For this reason, Havok considers Lilah as a valuable friend and ally. It was also Lilah who introduced Cade to the social website Formspring, a place where he visits from time to time to unwind. Through Formspring, Havok discovered that Lilah lives in the same apartment complex in Faultline that he does.
  • Armaments: Cade's first meeting with Armaments came when he was savagely beaten by Ripjaw and Gatoroid. Armaments was one of the few Orthrus Inc. operatives sent in to extract him. Armaments cocky attitude doesn't phase Red, as he's seen it before. Rather than judge Armaments on his attitude, he judges him on his actions. During past Infiltrator-related missions he has been impressed with Armaments skills, and regards him highly for what he brings to the team.
  • Asunder: If Grant Miller is the world’s mightiest mutant, Tyler Ricci gave him a hell of a run for first place. She’s strong, resourceful and not afraid of anything. Another former Headliner, Asunder joined The Challengers later after Grant requested her specially. Looking over her file, Red found she would be an invaluable teammate to have and so far he’s been right. Red regards her highly, and will often take her opinion into account when making hard decisions.
  • Azure Tracer: The bodyguard in booty shorts. Azure is the right-hand operative alongside Orthrus Director Liquidus. She doesn't say much but when she does it is often rude and condescending. Despite this, Red has seen her in battle and knows exactly why she was a feared member of the Orthrus organization. She has slowly been learning and adapting to the "sapien" way of life. Red sees changes in her personality every day, though small, they are changes none the less.
  • Blast Cycle: The latest addition to The Challengers is yet another reformed villain. Blast Cycle only made the cut because he was vouched for by Replacer. At first, they had a strictly business relationship, but it didn’t take long for Blast Cycle to make a good impression with Red. After helping defeat Exadeus, and drive him back into the dark matter zone, “Cyke” cemented himself into Havok’s good books.
  • Blue-Havok: Blue-Havok was the other half of The Havok Brothers - Paragon City's most famous crime-fighting duo. Red and Blue were born leaders and found themselves rallying the hero community on many occasions. They were the spearhead of the "meta-wars" and a true force to be reckoned with. With Blue seemingly dead, Red has had to adjust to life without his greatest ally.
  • Cyberman: Cyberman was a member of The Defenders of Paragon and met Red and his brother when they first came aboard the famous super group. Cyberman formed a strong bond with The Havoks and they were part of a "group within a group". This offshoot team consisted of Cyberman, Nimbus, Liquidus and The Havoks. When The Frontline was formed Cyberman knew he had to help and left The DoP to do so. He had all but retired following The Frontline's disbandment, and was recruited by Mr. Shade for The Infiltrator Initiative. It was here he and Havok again crossed paths. They have continued working together since.
  • Dynomind: Dynomind is a former villain, who has since reformed and tries to make up for his past by fighting against the very evils he once allied himself with. As a man who also has a checkered past, Red-Havok understands Dynomind, and the two have joined forces on more than one occasion. With the addition of former villain Paul Ooshun, Havok decided to extend the offer to another, which led to Dynomind joining The Challengers.
  • Foxy Ferret: Foxy and Red first met as enemies, but Red soon found out the truth behind this supposed thief. She had a heart of gold, and the best intentions. Foxy was wonderful woman, and once he saw that, he went out of his way to assist her in any way possible. When The Havoks left Paragon on their mission for Portal Corps., Foxy took it hard. When Red returned she was instrumental in helping him readjust to life without his brother. Havok and Foxy have been through a lot. They've seen each other at their worst, and they've shared the greatest of memories together. For better or for worse, these two heroes were meant to be.
  • Gadgix: Technological genius, and BFG specialist extraordinaire, Gidget Addams is what Red considers the total package when it comes to teammates. She’s smart, resourceful and tough as nails. Despite her small, unassuming nature, Gadgix is a serious force to be reckoned with. She first worked as an ally, assisting The Infiltrators several times, against the will of Shade. When The Challengers were formed, Gadgix was present and she was an obvious choice to include on the roster. She is responsible for the creation of Havok’s energy shield, of which she was personally commissioned. It has saved Red's life, and protected the team on numerous occasions.
  • Hexamancer: Hexamancer's history is tied to Blast Cycle. The two were a crime fighting duo called The Boston Boys, not unlike Red and his own brother. Red's first impression of Hexamancer spoke volumes as only a few hours following, Red personally offered Hex membership with The Challengers. As an arcanist, Hexamancer is a vital asset to The Challengers, as they had experts in nearly every area except the arcane. Just like his friend Blast Cycle did before him, Hexamancer has outdone himself in impressing Red.
  • Impact: Impact is a super-strong, hard hitting hero of Paragon. Max is a good honest man, and an even better hero. They first fought together, officially, during what was supposed to be a simple couples night out with their significant others and some friends. It was ruined by Doc Quantum which made for an unforgettable evening. Impact and Havok have crossed paths since, developing more of a sense of respect for each other. Max seems to respect Red for his leadership and legacy, and Red respects Max's strength and determination. Max owns a gym called Boomers, which he renovated himself and brought back to working order. Red volunteers from time to time with community outreach programs for children. He also enjoys going to shoot hoops with Max.
  • Johnny Turbo: Johnny was once a star member of The Frontline. He was a brash hero and was nothing short of amazing but he needed guidance. The Havoks tried to give this to him wile in The Frontline but unfortunately that was not the case. An incident involving Johnny and another member caused the eventual disbandment of the group. Once Red held Johnny responsible, but has since learned that it was his own fault. He and Johnny both share a mutual respect for each other, not just because of what they had gone through in the past, but how they now conduct themselves in the present. From time to time, they enjoy competitive and co-op sessions of "Gears of War" on xbox.
  • Liquid Zero: The genetic brother of Liquidus, Liquid Zero is somewhat of a loose cannon. On the surface, he seems not unlike Turbo or Renegade, but there is much more to him. He is a trained, and precise killer. One has to wonder if the goofball routine is just an act.
  • The Masked Renegade: Red and Masked don't have much of a personal relationship. Beyond missions, the two don't have much interaction. Because he was recruited by Shade, Cade knows he has potential. Johnny always speaks highly of Masked, and it's well known that the two are good friends. If nothing else, Red is glad that Johnny has someone to keep him from going too overboard. When The Renegade sacrificed himself not only for his team, but for Paragon itself, he made a lasting impression on Red. No matter how strange the man was – he was a hero like no other.
  • Nimbus : Nimbus and Red have been close friends for many years. Nimbus is one of the most selfless heroes Red's ever had the opportunity to work with, and is always impressed when he hears of things his friend has accomplished. The two served together on The Defenders of Paragon, and Nimbus was part of the decisive battle against the Rogues Gallery in Siren's call. It was this battle that led to the formation of The Frontline. Nimbus followed Red and his brother, believing in the cause. He was one of The Frontline's greatest assets. In 2011, Red was surprised to find Nimbus as a candidate for The Infiltrators. When the secrets behind The Infiltrators and Orthrus Inc. finally came to light, The Challengers were formed. Nimbus once pledged to fight beside his longtime ally.
  • Replacer: Grant and Cade first met during the Blacklist's attack on Bloody Bay. Rave Spider was an active hero while Red was still on his mission with Portal Corps. Because of this, Red didn't have a chance to ever meet Rave. During the battle, Red was very impressed with Rave Spider's combat ability, and also his overall knowledge. He was a very well-informed individual and someone who brought a lot of facts to the table. When Red found out that Rave Spider was recruited as The Renegade's replacement, he knew Masked and Mr. Shade made a very wise choice. After losing his brother and becoming The Replacer, it became clear that Grant and Cade were more alike than they first thought. Red considers him one of his closest friends.
  • Paul Ooshun: This man, this monster, defined in part what The Challengers were to become in the public eye. Once a hero, Paul Ocean became powerful supervillain Paul Ooshun by way of a tragic accident. The man inside the hulking sludge monster regained control by means of therapy, and wanted to make up for his sins by becoming a hero once again. Though he was cleared mentally, Longbow was very leery of Paul, and tasked him to The Challengers. Either Paul became a hero under their watchful eye, or he was to remain imprisoned. Havok had his reservations, but Paul was a former hero. This fact alone was the only reason Red agreed to Longbow’s proposition. So far, Paul has proven himself, so much that it has changed the way Havok feels about reformed villains. Havok is able to somewhat influence Ooshun's actions, but Ooshun does not always comply with his commands.
  • Sovereign Fist: Once, Red-Havok considered Ray Lewis as an enemy. He was, after all, a member of the nefarious Dread Aces, a group of villains who were in constant opposition to The Frontline. Fist, however, was not as evil as the rest of the crowd he ran with. In fact, he was a hero, trapped in the Rogue Isles who tried to do the best he could. Though he was employed by Sierra Hawthorne herself, Sovereign would use Dread Ace resources to help those in the isles who truly needed it most. He was a modern day Robin Hood, not unlike Foxy Ferret and not the criminal Red first thought him to be.
  • Waypoint: Waypoint has always been a strange one. Red first met Waypoint through their mutual friends Turbo and Renegade. He was also a leader at one point in his career and Havok tends to listen to what advice he may have from time to time on certain situations. As far as allies go, no one has been able to change Havok's personal opinions so many times. Waypoint has gone from strange, misunderstood, eccentric, oblivious weirdo to one of The Challengers' most vital members - and someone Havok places a lot of responsibility on.

Colleagues
  • The Crux Enigma: Havok met rose through mutual friends. She has helped Havok and his allies both while they were Infiltrators, and Challengers. Rose is an unofficial liaison between her group The Reciprocators and The Challengers. She is able to talk with spirits of the departed, but has never been contacted by Blue-Havok. Red views this as something of shred of hope.
  • F.I.S.T.: Foxy Ferret's mysterious group of orphans, who she not only takes care of, but also act as her support network. They are a very impressive group of young kids who are more than a match themselves. From the robotic giant RiN, to the bio engineered Ultamon, F.I.S.T. is no small threat. They are mentored by fellow teen heroes Ravenwing and Radamanthys. After playing a part in repelling the invasion force by the corrupted Guardians of Foxy's home realm, F.I.S.T. has agreed to operate as a unit under the command of Vanguard.
  • Global Defense Force: The Global Defense Force may be a newer team, but it is a team that in Red's mind, was in the works for years. Just as The Havoks were preparing to leave on their mission with Portal Corps., a new hero named Matt King had appeared in Paragon. It was easy to see the potential in the hero - and in some way, knowing there was a new generation of capable heroes on their way up made leaving Paragon just a little easier. Years later, Matt King had grown into a seasoned veteran in his own right and was now known as the hero Dawnshift. Together with Black Authority and Powered Omega, they head the Global Defense Force - a large group of heroes with international responsibilities.
  • Timmy Quick: A young, very religious intern from HeroCorps. Alaska, Timmy Quick is an easy one to underestimate. However he has proven himself to be a very smart, reliable and resourceful member of The Challengers, even if it was temporarily. While his super speed doesn’t near match that of Turbo’s, Red would almost trade that in exchange for Timmy’s easy to work with attitude.
  • The Young Challengers: A group of teens not related and certainly not endorsed by the actual Challengers. The Young Challengers are an annoyance more than anything. Because of their name, their actions reflect heavily on their adult counterparts. Unfortunately these kids don’t seem to get it. Havok particularly hates when they refer to themselves as “The Young ‘Gers”
  • Xanatos: Legend. There really isn’t a need to elaborate after saying that word. Xanatos embodies the word legend just as he defines the word hero. Some say he was the world’s first, true super hero. It was Xanatos who gave The Havoks their first shot in The Defenders of Paragon. Under his leadership, The Havoks learned what it meant to serve and protect. At one time, Xanatos served as a Challenger but with the return of Galactic Gary and the threat of inter-galactic war looming, Xanatos had to fulfill his duties elsewhere.

Legacy Allies
  • The Defenders of Paragon: Being a former member, Red-Havok is still on working terms with his old teammates. Many friendships were forged during his time in the Defenders. Notable allies include: Exodus, Bayne, Yellow Wolf, Knightward, Major Marvel, Star-Sentinel, Night-Club, Magistar, and Amicus Curiae.
  • The Eidolon Eight: A group formed by the hero Graphite as a direct opposition to The Sadistic Seven. The Eidolon Eight members include: Graphite, Empyreal, Alumette, Vindicator, Noble, Red Queen and The Havok Brothers
  • Kadekawa: Leader of The Shinsengumi and ally of Cade and his brother. Kadekawa met the Havoks years ago before any of them had ever been to Paragon City. While on a top-secret military mission, Kadekawa encountered the brothers who helped him overthrow a tyrannical dictator in south-east Asia. Later the three worked together extensively and always maintained a good working relationship. Sadly, Kadekawa gave his life in the line of duty, and will forever be remembered as a great hero, leader, and friend.
  • Liquidus: The Havoks also met Liquidus while with The Defenders of Paragon. Liquid joined The Frontline shortly after its formation and served as The Havoks personal black-ops soldier. When The Frontline was disbanded Liquidus formed his own team, Freedom Force, which was made up of the remaining Frontline members. Liquidus now serves as Director of Orthrus Inc.
  • Ozell One: Ozell One is a prototype artificial humanoid created to assist the heroes and citizens of Paragon alike. The Havoks first met Ozell during The Sadistic Seven’s attack on Bloody Bay. Ozell has proven to be an invaluable asset to the defense of Paragon and he has dedicated himself to protect the city against the enemies of the Rogue Isles many times.
  • Sable Falcon: Sleana and Cade go back quite a way. Red and Agape, Selana's father served together in The Frontline. Red has seen Selana grow from a little girl into a confident and dangerous young woman. Because of his friendship with Agape, he feels almost like a guardian of Selana's. The two have a relationship not unlike an uncle and niece.
  • SincereAgape: Sincere and the Havoks first met during the Counter-Attack in Siren's. He showed himself to be a worthy hero and assisted the brothers many times during the battle. Later, he expressed interest in joining The Frontline. Cade and Devin have been through thick and thin together.
Symb.png Enemies

The New Threats
  • The Blacklist: The Blacklist is a loose coalition of like-minded villains who strive to bring about "The End" as promised by Phanto. It isn't certain what exactly "The End" is, but Red is determined to fight against it no matter the cost. Any name on The Blacklist is considered and enemy.
  • Deadwringer: The silent killing machine Deadwringer seems to be one of Phanto's main enforcers. He can elude detection by blending in with his surroundings and prefers to blind side his opponents. Wherever Deadwringer is, Phanto is not far behind, and who knows what else.
  • Exadeus: At one time, Kellon Faris was "Lord" of the Dark Matter Zone, and member of the infamous Rogues Gallery. During the now historic 2007 battle in Warburg which marked the end of The Sadistic Seven, Exadeus was one of many super villains sent to prison. While handfulls were sent to the Zig, only to wind up on the street again Exadeus was sent to Strongwall Penitentiary where he was held until 2011. This marked the so-called Dark Matter war between The Infiltrators, Exadeus and Amon Aser. Though Exadeus had a long history in as a powerful villain, he was finally defeated and ultimately destroyed in the very place he drew his power from.
  • Nitedevil: Nitedevil, a vigilante who once patrolled the streets of Paragon under the cover of dark, The Nitedevil slowly built his reputation as a heroic force to be reckoned with. Impressed with his resolve, The Havoks recruited Nitedevil into The Frontline as the first official member. He was then made co-leader and ran the group as a tribunal alongside The Havoks. Red was rescued by Nitedevil and Orthrus Inc. following a confrontation with super villains Ripjaw and Gatoroid. It was Nitedevil's membership with The Infiltrators that convinced Red himself to join. Havok recently learned that this Nitedevil was not the man he thought it was.
  • Orthrus Inc.: The agents of Orthrus are a group of soldiers sworn to serve Mr. Shade. The agents act as backup and have assisted The Infiltrators several times. Likewise, The Infiltrators have also assisted Orthrus. While Red is grateful for their support he can't help but wonder what it would be like to fight against them should he ever cross Shade.
  • Phanto: The dramatic ringleader of the Blacklist. So far Red has encountered Phanto three times. The first was a deliberate ploy to gain the attention of The Infiltrators. The second was a one on one showdown between the two in which Red attempted to kill the villain (a fact unknown to his teammates). The third and latest was an attack on Bloody Bay that Phanto announced as "The Beginning of The End."
  • Ripjaw and Gatoroid: These hulking monsters crave nothing more than mayhem. Red has fought against his fair share of bizzare creatures during his career as a hero, but none more fearsome than these two.

Legacy Villains
  • Crimson Cutlass: "The scourge of the skies". The Crimson Cutlass is the leader of The Dread Aces, a small but powerful group made up of some the the most skilled individuals in the Rogue Isles. Cutlass and her crew have had encounter after encounter with the Havoks. Each time the outcome had been different. Crimson Cutlass and her group have not been heard from in quite some time, leading the brothers to believe they no longer pose a threat.
  • Kichi: The flame-wielding ninja Kichi is at first glance a small, almost harmless looking girl. However, she accomplished the amazing feat of holding her own against both Red and Blue, and even came very close to defeating them. The Havoks are a dangerous duo but perhaps Kichi is even more dangerous alone than the Havoks are together.
  • Mindswipe: Member of The Sadistic Seven, Rogues Gallery co-founder, and telepathic menace. Mindswipe has had many encounters with the Havoks. It appears he will not rest until he has gained full control of the brothers through psionic assaults, a ploy that almost succeeded during the counter-attack in Siren’s Call.
  • Mr. Mud: Mr. Mud is also a member of The Rogues Gallery as well as The Sadistic Seven. He was the mastermind behind many of the large scale assaults on Paragon. Mud and the Havoks have had many battles, with the final score yet to be settled.
  • Overbite: One of Herocorps. Most wanted villains. Overbite and the Havoks have had a lengthy history. Their first encounter was in Talos Island, an encounter which left the surrounding area in ruins. They met again in Bloody Bay during an attack by The Sadistic Seven. The three fought many times, and will undoubtedly fight again, perhaps to the finish.
  • Rogues Gallery: A large organization of villains who would likely otherwise work solo. They have assisted The Sadistic Seven with many of their attacks on Paragon.
  • The Sadistic Seven: The Sadistic Seven is a loose alliance between seven villains from the Rogue Isles who have joined forces to bring destruction and malice to the heroes and people of Paragon City, usually through organized, systematic assaults with the help of hundreds of villains from the Rogue Isles. Their eventual defeat was due largely in part to efforts by The Havok Brothers and The Frontline.

NOTES.
  • The Havoks were originally alts made by my brother and I to help our father level his own character. After all the positive attention we received they became our mains.
  • The Havoks were influenced by a variety of sources: Superman Red and Superman Blue (DC comics), Bud and Syd (Saint Seiya), Hawk and Dove (DC comics), Cable and Stryfe (Marvel) Hawk and Animal (LoD), and Heaven and Hell (Fearless Hyena 2). I guess you could say as brothers we've always been drawn to the duo concept in some way.
  • The Havok Brothers are the longest running dedicated player duo in City of Heroes. They have existed since 2006.
  • The Havoks are well known for their RPvP prowess.
  • Despite what many assume, The Havoks are not twins. Red is one year older than Blue.
  • I am against retcons. But one thing I wish we thought of while writing the brother's origins, was that we set it during the Vietnam War. I would also not have named Red "Cade". I fucking hate that name.
  • Thomas Jane would portray Red-Havok in a feature film.
  • Brian Bloom would voice Red-Havok in an animated film.
  • Although not originally intended, Red has developed character traits similar to Captain America and Cyclops of Marvel Comics, and Commander Shepard of the Mass Effect series.
  • Red-Havok and Foxy Ferret's relationship transcended the game and we were married in 2008.
  • The characters Red-Havok and Foxy Ferret were married August 22, 2012. The ceremony was officiated by Johnny Turbo. Replacer was best man and Azure Tracer was maid of honor.
  • The Challengers are a group of my closest friends in CoH. Some of us have been playing together for over five years.
  • If not for Red-Havok, there would be no Johnny Turbo! You're welcome Virtue.
  • Red's Xbox LIVE gamertag is cade367hamster. He often plays with Johnny Turbo, who has the gamertag nofatchx.
  • The Original Red-Havok was a Claws/SR scrapper. In i21, Red was re-rolled as a Brute in favor of the more visually stunning Street Justice, and was paired with Shield Defense - a power combo concept I owe to @Unmasked.
  • After returning to CoH following a hiatus, Red-Havok has transitioned into a solo hero due to the apparent death of his brother. This has been a great angle to play from.
  • I've heard people call Red-Havok "Virtue's Captain America". I can't thank anyone enough for thinking that. It's really the highest compliment I've ever received. I am truly humbled for the respect and admiration complete strangers show toward The Havok Bros. So thank you!
  • I enjoy things that are saxworthy.
  • If Captain America and Charlie Brown had a love child it would be Red-Havok.
