Friendly Terms

People here are the ones that Albert considers a friend. And these people mean a lot to him. Some more than others, yes, but they're friends nonetheless.

Dynnin

"One of the very few people I can call a true friend. He didn't even know me at the time, and he saved me from myself. Words cannot express how thankful I am of that. And of him."

Rey Makaiau

"My relationship with Rey is something you'd call special. At times, the short school bus kind of special. When we met, we bickered. (We still bicker to this day.) I didn't trust him then and wouldn't give him a chance. But that was mainly because Lucy set us up. Little did I know, he was watching me from afar. And sometimes, he's in my face. And even though some higher being told him that I needed to be watched (and I still hate him for it), I don't believe I would have changed anything about it. This man is possibly someone I might spend the rest of my life with."

Jason Leander

"I never really knew this guy very well, but I'd consider him a drinking buddy. He served my drinks in the D quite a number of times and I'd always tease him about the bartender's book he kept reading. He's a nice guy either way."

Lucy Xiao

"I'll be honest here. When I met her, I would have taken her to bed with me, no questions asked. But as soon as she mentioned her jealous-type boyfriend that she was currently with, that was a huge no-go. Still, she was spunky, she spoke her mind, and didn't give a shit about the outcome. That's what I liked about her."

Ghast Blade

"There were so many times when I wanted to punch him in the face. And you know what? I actually got to do it once. But he deserved it at the time. Leaving NAM to myself, trusting me with such a huge place. It's his fault that I ended up how I did. Would I change anything about it? Absolutely not. This man changed me into who I am now. Even though he's now retired, I'm sure he'll rise again at some point. Sometimes, I feel like I owe this man my life. But he made it a living hell at the same time so I'm saying no. I am, however, thankful for everything that he's taught me. He's been a best friend and a father-figure to me, and I hope I was a good kid and son to him."

Reaper Girl

"There are just some people in the world who you don't want to cross. Those same people, you want them at your side. That's exactly what happened where with myself and Raven. While we weren't close, she still went on missions and completed them diligently. Her work was never halfway, and she made sure everything goes as planned. She's a fierce fighter, and I'm glad to have worked with her."

Molior

"How many people can you say you trust with your life? I only have a handful. And this man is one of them. Diligent and thorough in his work, Molior is a man you don't want to have on your bad side. Don't mistake him for being emotionless or stoic because it's definitely there. And as much knowledge as he has in the world, he's definitely useful to have around."

N'ur Head

"He said that he looked at me as a brother. Since then, I've contemplated on it and it seems like he's right. I haven't confided in anyone as much as I have in Versalis. He helped me during hard times. And I wish that he'd let me return that favor. And he needs to start telling me if something's troubling him. That jackass."

Fire-Crow

"John was one of the first people I met that joined NAM who was around my age. In fact, I was the one who recruited him. It didn't take long for us to be actual friends. And even with his continued absence and everything that we've argued about, our friendship prevailed. To be honest, I was physically attracted to him but never pursued anything. Mainly because I wouldn't have been around enough, but also because I never knew where things stood with him."

Jacob Fayte

"Jacob was someone who always kept me on my toes. When things got down, he did his best to bring them back up. When I was having an episode full of emo, he tries to make me forget about them. He's a constant reminder for me that I'm still young and shouldn't feel that burden on my shoulders so much. I'm glad that I have someone like that around."

Side-shift

"Dorreen was always a little sister to me. And what do big brothers think of their little sisters? They're obnoxious and annoying little brats. But this is something I wouldn't want to change, either. While her free spirit was always refreshing, her obnoxious traits did get irritating."

Enterphase

"Ever had one of those things were you ended up disciplining your parent? Yeah, that's how my relationship with Enterphase was like. He's my biological father. I was so pissed off when I learned this and left me behind. But we got through that and I wanted to have a father/son relationship with him. But like I said earlier, I ended up having to discipline him. I still think that that asshole should not have gone on that suicide mission, but... Can we move on?"

Aquila Hawk

"I'll be honest here. The moment I saw this guy was the moment I became physically attracted. So I got to know him, see how he was like. We instantly clicked. He was the retarded speedster who had a death wish every time he rushed in battle, and I was the dark disciplinarian who told him that he was dumb. Though, it was different with him since I actually confessed this little tidbit to him. I actually kind of regret it. But I guess it worked itself out. We are still very good friends to this day, even though I argue that I can finally kick his ass in the arena."

Lance the Wanderer

"It never failed that Lance would pull through anything that we threw at him. Then he wonders why I kept giving him these promotions. I saw the potential in him. It just turned out that I was right about them every time. He helped me venture through rough times and helped me try to find Gabe."

American Avenger.

"If I wasn't in NAM back then, the only place I would have wanted to take position in was Mr. Avenger's assault team. He did his role true justice in The Palladium Sentry and in the community as a hero and wouldn't wish for anything more. I can probably say that he's my hero considering that he has pulled through for me when I needed him. I couldn't be any more thankful for that."

Psistream

"It was hard turning down Zac when he confessed that he had feelings for me. But ultimately I had to. Otherwise, it was a nice change of pace hanging out with him. He can ride the waves like he owns them and he's really a good guy to be around. I wish he would have told me about the problems he had before he went off trying to kill himself. I'm gonna kill him for that."

Ace Sizzle

"So I heard that Ace takes some sort of shots at the back of his neck to restrain certain... characteristics of himself. I think that's utterly ridiculous if it's true. Nevertheless, he was a nice guy to be around and he always saw the good in others. Well, moreso than myself."

Nereidia

"The Queen of Atlantis. Heh. There's a lot to be said about her. She and I probably had more meetings than what was required or even needed. Again, I'll be honest. I had a huge infatuation for her. Even after she and Leviathas got married. I've never met anyone so genuinely caring for their people and their friends. Her kindness knows no equal. She is one of the best people I've met in my life, and I'm envious of Leviathas to have someone like her as his wife."

Leviathas

"The King of Atlantis. He has a short fuse, I'll tell you that much. Nereidia claims that he's just stubborn, but I'm sure it has a lot more to do with that. As I should have known, he was quick to pick up on my mannerisms toward Nereidia and I knew he began regarding me in contempt. I would apologize, but I have yet to cross him."

Golden Blizzard

"I've only seen Blizz around a few times, but I could immediately tell that he was genuine. He cared for his team, he cared for his members, and he knew how to lead them. That's what we had in common, and I wish we could have worked together more."

Whiteshell

"There's something about this man that intrigues me. I haven't really asked or dwelled into what it is but due time, I will. I only wish I knew how to help him find his past even though he seems to have found some of it."

Kydras

"Every time I saw him, he always seemed to be in a bind. I hope I helped him as much as I could since it's been awhile since I last saw him. He's got a kind heart and a good head on his shoulders. I hope he doesn't lose sight of that."

Refrax

"Dr. Steele was a great asset to New Age Mutants. She was good at what she did, and I hope she was able to assist in Dr. Schwarz's load. She was generous, helpful, and very informative. I hope she's doing well wherever she is."

Gravity Blast

"Nolan was one of those people who you didn't forget. And don't forget. He was one of the best people I know. Yeah, he had an ego. But he never let it get to him. I wish I would have been able to give him more responsibility as he asked before I left NAM for good. He always brought out the best in the other NAM members including myself. And you know, I actually miss him."

Renewable Man

"I remember Mark joining at the recommendation of Zac. He was a nice guy, he was dedicated, and he helped out others wherever he could. Ironically enough, he became attracted to me and I had to turn him down. I hope that wherever he is, he's doing well. And he finds someone."

Fuego Fist

"When I first met Billy, he and I instantly clicked. We had some things in common, I flirted with him and he flirted back, and he was genuine. I did profess my physical attraction towards him. But what got my attention even more was his honesty. He was honest in everything he said and did, and I knew I had to return that favor. He's the reason why Rey and I are together in the first place. Because of that, he and I would be friends and I trust him with my life."

Plum Whine

"It was easy to see that whatever power Plum had, it wasn't hers. Not in a conventional sense, anyway. In the times that she was in trouble, she seemed to always pull through with the help of her friends. Though because of her naive nature, it makes it a little difficult to watch her from afar sometimes."

Jayden Michaels

"I was always glad that I could be straight, upfront, and honest with Jayden. I knew there was always more to him than what he presented to me at first, and I feel a little privileged to be able to see that. I've told him that he's destined for greatness, and I hope he sees that someday."

Professionalism

The following are people who Albert only knows on a professional level. Some good, some a little bit bad, some just really bad.

Statesman

"Marcus is the kind of man you either like or hate. I still can't decide on where I really stand with him because there are those days where I want to just punch him in the face and put him in his place. I know that his heart is in the right place, it's just that sometimes he should probably watch what he says."

Positron

"I don't like being sent on errand after errand after errand. And then later get an attitude about it."

Synapse

"I don't give a rat's ass about how your life was this terrible accident because you decided to dwell in it and then blame me for even talking to you about something almost completely unrelated. Go do yourself a favor and run into a wall. And crash in it."

Manticore

"While it's subjective on who I think is a hero or not, this man is definitely not a hero in my eyes. I can't trust Justin. First, does he not know that his secret is out about funding the Wyverns? And then turning on his friends? I can't ever respect something like that. And then to talk to me like I'm lower than he is. Tsk tsk... I really wonder what Shalice saw in him."

Sister Psyche

"To be honest, I was a little scared to meet Shalice at first. She was a psychic, she can 'ride minds', and she can overtake physical bodies from what I heard. But actually, she was one of the nicest people I've ever met. When I learned that she's Justin's wife, I was mentally blown away. But I guess that's neither here nor there. If she has anything for me to do, I'll see about doing them."

Uncertainty

People here, Albert is unsure about. While opinions are not exactly neutral in nature, they are not entirely negative.

Knight Sentinel

"While he and I remained on good terms with each other during my days in the coalition of The Global Defense Alliance, I never really knew where I stood with Mr. Sentinel. Don't get me wrong, he was a great leader. Though, I couldn't fathom how he'd demand so much from the alliance when he hadn't done much for NAM in the beginning then strike an ultimatum along the lines of 'If you still consider yourself an ally of The Sentry, you'd do all you can to help us find so and so person.' That really didn't sit well with me."

Dark Zephir

"Reeve and I got off on the wrong foot and I'm pretty sure he holds me in contempt. But I don't entirely blame him. We probably could have been good friends since we had both the leader thing and the age thing in common, but that's neither here nor there. Coulda shoulda woulda."

Agenla Kedair

"While I may be reading wrong into it, there's something about this woman (or whatever she may be) that I somehow cannot trust. There a certain interest of hers in me that's unsettling to me and I can't be too sure that I want to be able to grasp it. May be it is for the best that she considers me as someone from the UK."

Lieutenant Xrell

"I've come across multiple demons in my lifetime, but never have I seen one like Xrell. From the way he speaks, there is absolutely no way I am able to trust this man with anything. It's bad enough that he degrades the human race by calling us 'mortals' and to me, that's a form of racism that I will not tolerate. To say the least, us humans have the ability to go to a higher place. Demons supposedly come from the lowest of low."

The Bad Side

The following people should not, at any cost, cross Albert. If they wish to not complicate matters, it would be in their best interest to leave him be.

Renegade Ace

"I hope this guy stabs himself to death. He deserves it. Trust me."

Toketsu Taki

"Same as the previous. He was dumb enough to take advice from the previous douche bag."

Jaden Drake

"After everything I've done for him, he double-crosses me and becomes angry with me to the point where he just up and left. That jackass doesn't know how well he had it. And if he was jealous because Gabe gave me second-in-command and he didn't, it might have done him better if he just admitted to it. I worked blood, sweat, and tears to get to the position I had in NAM and I'm not gonna let him or anyone else fuck shit up because they were jealous."

Cautious

The following are people that Albert considers dangerous and should be carefully approached at all times.

Ghost Widow

"I'm not sure what to say about her. She's dead-er than dead. Funny how she tried to subdue me when I somehow received her powers instead. But I knew fighting her alone would be a lost cause so I had to get out of there. I'm sure I'll have a great welcoming committee should I show up in Grandville again."

Lord Recluse

"Two words. Megalomaniacal jackass."

Romulus Augustus

"This man couldn't tell two shakes from an ass kicking. But that's okay. I've exacted my revenge on what he did to Gabe."

Emperor Cole

"It's funny because I already dislike his version here on 'Primal Earth.' I dislike this one even more. I don't care if he's got all this power. He's still a delusional jackass who thinks he can really take over our dimension. It's time to stop being a comedian."
