This category contains characters who have established themselves as members of Vanguard, an in-game organisation dedicated to holding back the forces of the Rikti at any cost. Though they are generally regarded as a "hero" group, Vanguard is known to recruit operatives without regard for their criminal history, and so employs denizens of the Rogue Isles as readily as those of Paragon City.

This category need not include every character who has worked with Vanguard at some point in their career; rather, it is for those who are officially Vanguard members, and wish to identify themselves as such.
